	I know, little sister. But the Darklord was always especially testy during the Full Moon -- you will recall some of our battles with him -- and that is why the moon phase makes me think of him. And yes, I have found that being a female, alive or unDead, to be a trial to my soul. There's nothing to be done about it though, so I'm just going to have to deal.

	PD follows up that thought with images of what she will do if Penth doesn't listen. In spite of her mood, Penth bursts out laughing, startling nearby patrons. *Okay, you win! I'll say a prayer and light a candle for him later. For now, I'll work on being happy.*

	The rest of the evening passed without major incident and Penth found herself thinking about the items that PD lifted earlier in the evening and how they related to the cash delivery she had received, if indeed, they were related at all. Penth nodded and smiled and made small talk to the patrons while a part of her mind worked on the puzzle...

	Penth glances at the four large bodyguards who took up positions around their table as soon as they sat down. Unless a war breaks out in here, I don't thing that we will be disturbed by anyone but the staff. And they won't bring me any problem that they can't handle themselves.

	Yes, it has. Penth switched to mindspeak. Before we call it a night, we should go over that stuff you stole. There were at least two memory sticks in there and getting into them could be tricky. The rest of the papers looked like reports of some kind from what I saw. As soon as things settle down out here a bit more, we'll retire for the night and see what we can find out.

	It turned out to be a relatively quiet night at Kodiak's Night Club* so Penth and PD were able to retire to her office fairly early. Penth retrieved the bag from the spell sealed safe and opened it up. They quickly sorted through the contents with Penth taking charge of the two memory sticks.* Penth: These are undoubtedly encoded and password protected. She concentrated for a moment. They are spell protected too. This is going to take some thought and very careful work. She put them aside. They can wait. Let's see what these papers are. The women divided up the various folders and loose papers and began to read.....

	frowningYes, little sister. We seem to have stumbled onto something dangerous. How dangerous remains to be seen. When the owners of these papers discovers that they are missing, they will be hunting for them with all the means at their disposal.Penth quickly gathers all the loot from the raid into a pile. PD watches in amazement as a visible circle of light blinks into existence around them. Penth holds her hands over the pile and speaks a few words in a language that PD doesn't recognize. There is a small flash of light and Penth smiles. The circle disappears and Penth hands PD her reading material. *Without getting too technical, I've made it impossible for anyone to track these papers or you by magick. And I can't think of any non-magickal method of tracing them that would bring them here.*Penth looked at the memory sticks. *I'll start on those when I've finished reading these reports. At the least, I'll take a reading and see what sort of lock is on them.*

	Good. I'm following most of this but the technical details are a bit beyond me. The magick part I'm getting and I'm not sure yet if I approve of it. It certainly speeds up the process but the potential for abuse is enormous.
