I think it's amazement on the part of the nurses.  My kid brother was 9 pounds when he was born.  Smiley)  Really, I think it has to do with a code they assign the baby at birth, I can't remember the name of it, but there's a standard similar to the body mass index by which they can tell how healthy the baby is.  If it has all its parts in good working order, each should weigh about this much.  That kind of thing.  Of course, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about... just talkin' out my ass.  Wink

*Plop!* I've been on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor today when I wasn't at MW watching the carnage and sorting PMs! At some point prior to 1985 some moron decided that vinyl flooring with an indented pattern was a good idea. Another moron decided that it would be a good thing to install such flooring in my manufactured house. I quickly found that regular mopping was not sufficient to clean the dirt out of said indentations!! Therefore I must periodically get down on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and a bottle of spray cleaner and scrub the accumulated crud out of the indentations. Today was one of those days.....

Blew out both of my knees yesterday hauling water to the Guest House - the pump up there is burnt out and replacing it is just going to have to wait, unfortunately -- and I'm still pretty lame today. I'm managing to get a little done in spite of it though and like my mom always said, "Every little bit helps..."

Another day of housework tomorrow -- knees permitting. I'll probably be on in the afternoon and evening, off and on. Hubby works so it will be a regular day for us. Next week (beginning on the 9th) will be vacation and you are liable to see me and Nike at any time -- just not the same time!!  Grin

It is almost 9 in the pm and Mog is JUST NOW getting to bed...  Angry  Yes she had plenty of crap to do - make-up homework from being out sick Tues, pack an overnight bag for tomorrow (she won't have time tomorrow, being the first soccer practice), create a bee-yoootiful b-day card for my bro-in-law... but she's had since 4pm to get it all done!  AUGH... So she's now an hour late getting to bed, when she wants to start mileage club tomorrow am instead of on Monday, which means she'll have to be ready to leave when I do, at 7:45.  Gonna be a LOUD morning, I think...
