	Spent three hours in mind-numbing orientation at the park today. Whole lotta stuff that had nothing to do with spookin'. But it was worth it. Got my I.D. badge and parking pass. Is it September 23rd yet? Heh heh.

	I'm reading Stephen King's On Writing right now, just finished the memoir part in the front (it's only the first fourth of the book) and am starting his thoughts on writing. I swear I got chills & my heart sped up a bit... his idea of writing is EXACTLY the same as mine. No kidding. bouncing excitedly I think I'm gonna nail down a couple DethBunny ideas for a chapter book, and sign up at www.nanowrimo.org again this year. Who knows... maybe this time next year I'll be published! (yah right)

	Spirit has a psych evaluation this morning. No problems, don't worry! She just needs it for the paperwork to keep her on Hubby's health insurance since she will be 22 in November. After that, we are headed out for lunch and a bit of shopping.

	Hiya!! Today's destination is the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. And then we have to stop at Petsmart -- we're almost out of catfood! And it's Thursday so I'll be making pizza tonight. Friday will be "Girls' Day". Nike and I will take off by ourselves while Hubby keeps the girls. Then Saturday morning it is back to the Airport so Nike can catch her plane. sob!!

	I'm sitting here ALL ALONE... sniff Doc called me at work about 4:30 to say he was taking Mog out to Hot Topic, looking for boots. Now it's 6:30 and they're NOT back yet, leaving me to fend for myself... sniff Honestly, I'm just getting hungry & debating whether I should call Doc & make him pick up a couple pizzas from Little Caesar's on the way home. I haven't tried him 'cause he's only got about 20 min left on his cell. I keep looking out the window, wondering if I'm hungry enough to call him yet... tapping fingers Hmmm... No Doc yet... tap tap tap

	It doesn't take 20 minutes to tell a well trained husband to bring home dinner. "Little Ceasar's. 2 pizzas (specify toppings, of course.) NOW!!!!!" should be adequate to get the message across.

	That I do but you know this! Today is Nike's last full day here. Tomorrow she flies home. wail so today she and I are taking off together while Hubby and the girls go in a different direction. We will meet for dinner early this evening and be back here for a bit tonight. We don't expect to have to outrun any tornadoes....

	WE ARE BACK!! And the city of Indianapolis is still intact. Or at least, WE had nothing to do with it!! Honest. We're innocent. We will be heading out again in a couple of hours for Nike's "departure dinner". We are going to be dining at Chuck E. Cheese. We like the pizza and the girls like the games...

	Nike, MoonCat and I got a very good laugh as we were leaving Chuck E. Cheese tonight. We got up to the "Kid Check" station on our way out and the girl manning the desk asked Moonie how old she was. Twenty-three was the reply. The gal didn't believe it. Understandable since Moonie looks about 13. So then she asked Nike her age. 36 was the answer. And again she was stunned. And then she looked at me..... "53." I said. "NO WAY!" I laughed and asked if she wanted to see my Driver's License.... All in all, a wonderful end to a very good week...

	We haven't heard from her, but we had Mog's first soccer game this morning & were running errands most of the rest of the day, then went to Fuddrucker's for burgers. Doc is already laying down... I think we've all hit "nice warm rock" time.
