	Things are going to be a bit of a mess for another few days but barring too much real life, we should be done with the major stuff before the weekend is over. I suppose we should have some sort of "Grand Re-opening" but I haven't thought that far ahead.

	sigh Tomorrow's schedule has been set. Spirit's glasses have broken and so we will be spending the morning trying to find somewhere where we can either get the frames fixed or replaced. Of course, wherever we end up going may very well insist on an eye exam and a new prescription in order to get my girl in eyewear. sigh So I'll be here eventually. I'm just not sure when or in what frame of mind....

	Take her to one of those $99 special places if ya have to, but I think most places now can read the 'scrip off the old lenses and make new ones as long as you don't let them know the glasses are more than a year old. As always, Black_Rose

	We're back, finally.thud smilie Spirit's glasses couldn't be fixed but the local WalMart has walk in eye exams and since Skywise doesn't leave for work until 4:30, we had the time. So Spirit is getting new glasses -- which she needed -- and we don't have to make a special trip into town since we are in WalMart every 3 or 4 days, seems like!

	Checking in as promised. Skywise will be home in about an hour -- maybe sooner if his supervisor will let him leave a bit early since he -- Skywise -- will be supervising tomorrow. We could have Spirit's new glasses by 5th, definitely by the 9th. And trying to have faith that everything will turn out for the best.

	I think I'm about over this whatever I had. It didn't follow my normal "head cold/chest cold pattern" -- not that I'm complaining! -- so I'm thinking it was just some stray bug. The renovations are about done and I'm hoping that we can move on to the Grand Reopening and finding more ways to make this place what it was always meant to be -- an online home and haven. Let us know what you think of the changes and what you would like to see.

	Skywise has made a very naughty suggestion for our post-dinner activities and I think that it is a splendid idea. It is very possibly the only thing that could distract me right now. 	We have 4 inches of snow and it is still coming down. Unfortunately, Skywise has the late shift today. He left about 30 minutes ago. I'm going to go offline in 30 minutes and wait for him to check in. I'll be back when he does. He gets off at 2 a.m. so I'll be walking the floor from then until he gets home. And yes! Pictures of the first real snow of the season will be posted!!

	I'm back. It took Skywise nearly 90 minutes to make a 40 minute drive and he lost count of how many times he nearly slid off the road. The snow has pretty much stopped falling. We have about 5 inches. He gets off work at 2 a.m. Eastern and I'll be walking the floor until he walks in the door!!

	The snow has stopped so hopefully INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation0 will have the trucks out getting the roads cleared, salt/sanded and generally in shape for rush hour by the time he leaves from work. Since tomorrow is a school day, the county trucks should be out too clearing the county roads. There is no wind to speak of so there won't be any drifting to worry about -- but I'm still gonna worry until he's home!!!
