	I have read the Dispelled Myths section, so got all that. What is a modern day vampire? What does a vampire do? How are they different from everyone else? Is it a religion, culture or other? Whats psi?

	The best way I know how to 'splain it is.. We are not much more different than you are, though some like to claim otherwise. We just lack the ability to sustain our energy needs from the same places that you do. Where most humans can draw energy from the earth, we have to gather it from ahem alternate sources.. be it through blood or life energy of another person. While some people have tried to make a religion out of it.. the honest truth is that a vampire may choose which path to follow, much like any other person can. It's a matter of what they choose to do.

	I do both, some are strictly sanguinarian others strictly energy in one form or another. But yeah.. lack of being able to sustain energy the way a normal person does is the primary difference. Some are paler than most, some have natural fangs, some can see better at night that they do during the daytime, etc.

	Milk? I am also both or what is called a Hybrid. Both contain lfe force or energy. Everyone has some vampire in them but most dont have enough awareness to do anything with it. For alot of us we need the extra energy because we go through so much so fast. No not a religion, this is where it gets sticky between Hollywood vampire type followers and real vamps. I can also see in the dark well. Light hurts my eyes, I am primarily nocturnal I can be up by day but hate it.

	Well it hurts DK's eyes. He wears sunglasses all the time and I think that Ashe is a bit light sensitive too but I don't know if it is universal among vampires.
