CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW PIE

1 baked pie shell or crumb crust (See below) for 9" pan
20 large marshmallows
3/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cocoa
pinch salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. cream whipped or 2 c. Cool Whip

Cook marshmallows, milk, cocoa, and salt in double boiler until marshmallows dissolve.  Cool, and then add vanilla.  Fold in whipped cream.  Pour into baked shell and chill. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip and pecans (optional). Cut in small pieces as this is very rich.

***Graham Cracker Crust
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs (or vanilla wafer crumbs)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. melted margarine

Mix and press firmly into 9" pie tin. Sprinkle lightly with cold water and bake at 300°F for 8 minutes.
