Thanks. I'm afraid that talking won't help my main problem much. I've had a falling out with a friend. I have no idea what I did and, consequentially, no idea how to make it right or even if I can. This friend is an important part of my life and I'm torn up about the whole mess.

That happens sometimes.  Makes it very difficult to let go or move on if you don't even know what you did though.

No. Without going into details, I can't do any of those things. And, if there is any chance that my friend will reconsider and talk to me about this and tell me what I did, I can't risk making matters worse. So I have to sit and wait and hope that this will blow over that I can have my friend back. I trusted this person completely and was completely blindsided.

All I can say there is that true friends always come back, even if it's just to explain why they left in the first place. Those who don't bother, really weren't friends to begin with if they respected you so little. And if there is no respect there, who needs 'em anyway? I mean, yeah, it hurts for a while, but in the end, all you get from someone who doesn't respect you is hurt anyway. So better off without them if all they want is what they can get from you.

I know. ((hugs)) It is too soon to tell either way. My friend has a temper, is impulsive as all hell and has been known to make snap decisions that were later regretted. Up until this started, the relationship was solid as any I have. Trust was total and confidences were shared freely. So I will wait and pray and hope that my friend will reconsider.

No bridges are burned as far as I'm concerned. This person is just too important to me to give up on. Thanks for the good wishes. I will remember the happy times with my friend and that will give me what I need to keep strong.

ive been having anxiety attacks today.  (no comment on why)

Well, I've got Castle posts 3200 to 3399 up.  Smiley
The next section 3000 to 3199 needs a lot of rewriting. The section after that 2700 to 2999 is gonna be a killer. Just to remind everyone, the Penthesilea's Castle you see posted here is basically a first draft. It is a little more polished in places but it is mostly the first run through. I intend to write at least 2 books based on this draft with a third one planned -- real life willing.
