	They taste good though. [Note: After I saw my mother's hand slashed open by a rabbit, I got over any reluctance -- and to be honest I'd been eating wild rabbit for years -- to eat the rabbits we were raising for meat.]

	On the rewrite front, I've decided what "our heroes" will be hunting, what they will find instead and what will happen. This is a good thing. Now I can actually write it instead of thinking/brainstorming about it! Also on the rewrite front, one good thing about all this rewriting is that I will be able to correct a colossal mistake that got into the original. One fine night at the Castle all hell broke loose -- not unusual! -- and it was revealed that the Castle was being attacked by a kraken. Why is that a problem, you ask? It is a problem because the writer who decided to spring a sea monster on us didn't bother to ask me where the Castle was. Ahem. The seacoast is approximately 890 miles from the Castle!!! How a sea monster got so far inland was never explained. So I will fix that and use something else suitably hard to kill. Plus rewriting every part except mine and DK's!!

The nearest body of water is Castle Lake which is a flooded limestone quarry and is maybe a quarter mile from the Castle. The next body is the River of Lost Dreams which is about 6 miles away. It runs to the sea -- eventually -- and that route is a bit over a thousand miles as I recall. (I'm too lazy to go look it up at the moment. ) I'll find something with size and an appropriately aggressive attitude to throw against the Castle walls...

	I'm back. No phone call! snort! They will probably call and come out and do the work tomorrow while we are gone -- tomorrow's payday -- which is fine with me since the work entails removing a tree that is leaning against the main phone line.
