	*Elsewhere.....* Carl Lycan sat in his study with a select group of fellow "Heads of House" around him. The proposal that he had just made had shocked them speechless. "Have you lost your mind?" Carl smiled. "Actually, no. This candidate is intelligent, proactive and, most importantly, is beholden to no one with proven skills in negotiation and getting things done." He paused for effect and continued. "And is very likely the only candidate that a majority can or will agree on." His expression got hard. "We have had enough of war."

	And I'll make sure that the minion who goes doesn't resemble Blade in any way -- except for being male! Although we will probably have to deal with more of this, maybe a lot more. I should think about getting "staff" to handle it.

	Penth goes back to her desk and pulls out the phone directory. "I'm thinking that some sort of celebrity talent management firm would be our best bet. We definitely have a celebrity on our hands with Blade." Penth looks up. "And while I'm handling that, you might want to start preparing for your fights tomorrow night or "Blade" might get his butt kicked and all this work would be moot."

	Pent laughs. The first one will be no problem but the second is a transgenetic and both of them are formidable fighters. And you won't be able to use any of your really extreme moves without arousing suspicion.

	I rather doubt that anyone is "unsuspecting" now concerning Blade. Your first opponent is no doubt hoping for a quick and merciful end. Both of the transgenetics are probably more focused on Blade than on each other. Should I call Adam and tell him Blade is up for a late night workout?

	Penth smiles at her sister's eagerness and picks up the phone. A few minutes later, she puts it down. "Blade is in luck. Adam has been going over the DVDs of the the transgenetics' fights and he has some ideas. He'll be here in 30 minutes."
