after a time of contemplation Penth decides to return to the bustle of the club
just as Pd waltzes through the door wearing her customary black trousers and a black top whose sleeves look curiously like cobwebs, a pair of low heels and wet hair held back in a clip and she is carrying her coat in the crook of her arm.
she walks up to the bar "sorry I'm late, needed a shower." did you just see on the news what I saw?

way more than a dozen Penth...although i think i only knocked most of mine out, with their recuperative abilities they could have gotten away, but I think the police of this area have suddenly become VERY unreliable
oh good, I'd hate to miss all the fun.

I'll give being charming a turn for a change, you man the bar, and I'll give you a shout if I need you.

yeah, so would I but i didn't have time to pummel them all into mush. looks like it's just us against the world...again.  And who exactly are the private parties i'll be entertaining?

true, now I'll go play the nice hotess, after a ditch these rahter itchy trousers for a long skirt...must be my new washing powder.. Ok, I'll be right through, just let me dump my coat in my room.

*5 minutes later, Pd leaves her room and her hair is now dry ringlets and she is wearing an elegant long skirt.* I look suitable enough? *she walks through into the red room to start playing the role of hostess*

that was the intention, and from the looks on the peoples faces in here, I guess i chose well.

*laughs* somehow I think my rather ungirly disposistion goes to the contrary. she walks into the Royal Room, where she is met with more appraising looks this feels almightly wierd, i'm not used to having people look at me like this...

maybe, maybe...

*after all her engagments are finished she goes over to the bar, grabs a drink and tries to flop as ladylike as possible in her chair*

*smiles* try telling that to my feet *she kicks off her heels* i can fight for hours and not break a sweat, yet a night of smiling and pleasantness in heels kills me. what is up with that?!?!

*After a while, Penth sent PD off to rest. The schedule for the canceled matches had been posted and PD/Blade would be fighting the next afternoon rather than the evening after. That did not give her much time to prepare but considering the workout she had gotten in the alley, Penth didn't think that she would need much beyond a thorough warm up. It would be the regularly scheduled matches of the next evening that they would need to concentrate on. Penth decided that she would have to check the opposing fighters more carefully since it was obvious, at least to her, that products of "The Project" were being tested in the MMA event.

*Unbeknownst to PD, Penth herself was already gone. When the activity at the Club had wound down to a manageable level, Penth had excused herself for the night, went to her room, donned a disguise and exited the Club through one of the subterranean passages that her Sire had arranged for when he bought the building. She emerged in a subway tunnel some 2 miles from the Club. From there it was a simple matter to reach the street and begin prowling the places where information could be found. Penth was gifted (or cursed depending on how one looked at it) with an intense desire to know and understand what was going on. And there was a lot more going on in the MMA Championship than a simple athletic competition.....*

she wakes up to find herself in a strange room, and she checks herself to find that none of her knives remain, they even took her boots. the first thought to enter her head is oh sh...t.
she looks around and is highly unsuprised to find herself in the building she had previously broken into. getting up she tests the lock on the door and looks out of the reinforced with bar window and finds she is on about the 12th floor. just a bit of a drop... she thinks to herself, wondering whether if she jumped she'd survive.
oh well, first things first she thinks reaching behind her to pull a grip out of her hair and pick her handcuffs open. suddenly she hears a noise and retreats back to where they left her, pretending to be asleep...
