	The field across the road is being harvested. That means all the little mousies who have been summering there will be looking of "winter quarters." It is a good thing the cats are all excellent mousers or we would be overrun. sigh I expect to find many tiny carcasses in the front yard over the next few weeks.

	I'm back. I'm doing laundry -- only half of a mountain left to do -- and pecking away at the keyboard working on the monster hunt. Sometimes, I wish I was writing the Castle as a shooting script. Then translating what is in my head into a visual would be the set designer's job! Oh well, back to the dank underground tunnels filled with hideous monsters thirsting for blood.....

	Afternoon! Skywise and Moonie have been using the comp this morning and we made a quick run into town for a bite of lunch and so the girls could shop a bit. I took this morning's extra hour in the form of sleep since Skywise's "pingpong ball" schedule of the last two weeks has really drained me. Thank the Gods that this coming week is all early shift. I'll be able to get into a routine and stick with it -- at least for a week! I'm hoping that once my cognitive functions are over their sleep deprivation the monsters will be a bit more cooperative about being hacked, hewn, sliced, ripped and/or blasted to bits!

	I've been working on my altar cloth while Moonie got her internet fix. Sewing on that much trim by hand takes a while. I've got one side done and I've started on the second side. My altar is kinda big (2 x 3 feet by 39 inches tall, three levels) and the cloth reaches the floor. I got 10 yards of Greek Key trim and I should have enough. Once the trim is on, I'm going to embroider a simple design in each corner since this design doesn't "turn" corners well.
