	Well, I managed to wrestle some posts into submission before my vision got blurry and I had to stop. Skywise is home so I'm going to call it a night. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Yawn I've been up for hours and I'm still sleepy! I think that it is the cold weather -- and it is finally cold! -- that makes me this way. I want to curl up in a nice warm blanket with maybe a mug of hot chocolate at hand. And once the chocolate is gone, snuggle down and sleep 'til spring. Or until Skywise gets home! Failing that, I'll make some iced tea, put chili on the dinner menu and get to work!

	It's cold. Really cold and the wind is picking up. The cats don't like the cold. They have been quite satisfied with the mild winter we have been having. They want to go outside. It is too cold outside. They are going stir crazy and are climbing all over everything, knocking things onto the floor and playing energetic games of "chase and pounce" all through the house. If you happen to be in the basement when this is going on it sounds like a herd of furry elephants are stampeding though the place. If you are topside, the noise is only slightly less and you can hear the yowls of outrage when the chaser catches the chased. sigh In six weeks, we will be knocking on Spring's door, here at least, and my adored ones will be able to go outside and expend their excess energy....

	Things are going a bit easier on the Castle. Maybe my creativity is working better today. Anyway, the work proceeds and I am happy with it. heads back to the word document

	I think I'm going to have to rewrite some of my own stuff as well. Or at least, rearrange it. I'm gonna take an ice cream break -- Moonie just walked past with a bowlful, evil child! -- and consider the matter.

	Afternoon! Yeah, I slept in this morning. It was cold (still is for that matter) and the bed was cozy. After Skywise got up, Spirit climbed into bed with me and we and the War Queen got caught up on sleep! I made a traditional breakfast -- bacon, scrambled eggs and homemade biscuits -- when I got up so everyone was willing to overlook my being in bed all morning. And it DID give Skywise a chance to catch up on his reading. Now, I'll get caught up on mine.... Edited because the durn typodemons took advantage of me before the caffeine kicked in!!

	I'm thinking about a handfasting ceremony that I need to write. I'm not going to need it any time soon but it is nagging at me. snort! I guess I'll haul out a book or two, do a little research, make a few notes and maybe the thought will leave me alone so I can get some of the stuff I need NOW written....

	Skywise is fooling with the Hall's network. He is intense and he may be muttering under his breath. I can't hear him -- I'm topside and he's at the Command Center computer in the basement -- but he told me to go ahead and use the Research Station so here I am. For how long, I can't say. The Lord of Samhain thinks that he wants out. He is meowing at anyone capable of opening a door. NOT GONNA HAPPEN, LITTLE GUY! It is too cold outside. The Queens are resigned. They've been though this before and they know that it's too cold to be outside. They are snuggling down in various spots and sleeping when they aren't eating. They will put on some weight but as soon as it warms up, they will run it off....

	Note to self: Schedule Spirit's next dental appointment -- in 6 months -- for later in the damned morning! There simply are NOT enough hours between when I went to bed and when the alarm went off which was 40 minutes ago. I will be back this afternoon sometime when I will be, hopefully, awake...

	I'm back and more or less awake. Spirit's appointment went off without a hitch and I got some reading done in the waiting room. She always wants Skywise to go with her into the treatment room and while the dentist has as policy of not letting parents stay in the room -- and if the girls were little I don't know that if I would go along with that -- they make an exception for Spirit because of her autism. We are hoping most ardently that things will settle down now so we can start enjoying the year instead of rushing through it!

	muwahahahahaha We discovered on the way into town that the "building activity" going on next to the water tower -- the second highest point in the neighborhood and the 3rd highest point in the entire county -- appears to be a cell phone relay tower [not the technical name, I know. Bear with me!] which means that we will FINALLY have cell phone reception at the house. The water tower is visible from the front yard -- just look down the REMC right of way -- so I have a suspicion that we will have "bars" coming out of our ears! More to the point, we will have phone communications while we are tying up the landline with the computers.

	FINALLY made it in! Skywise has the early shift tomorrow and so we HAD to get some stuff done today. He wants to build a mast for the new HD-TV antenna so we headed off to see what is available in the way of materials. He had a few other things on his shopping list as well so we were on the run all morning. Once he has the mast installed and the antenna up, we're going to start on the bed.....
