	Still no word on the DarkPrincess's arrival and today is her due date. Will Her Dark Highness be on time or fashionably late? Has she already made her appearance, catching everyone by surprise and keeping her parents to busy to post? Watch this thread for the answers to these and other burning questions!

	Hi! Sorry it's taken me so long to get in here. Aleksey was born 5-6-08 @ 11:08 AM. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long. We got your box Penth, and the dresses are GORGEOUS. I'll post pics of her in them once I manage to wrangle her into something more complicated than a onesie. Here is a pic of our little girl too. (She looks like her daddy!)

	I picked up a couple of little things for Alex at the track today. I know, I'm hopeless! She'll have to grow into them but that shouldn't take too long. hehehehehe I'll let you know when I send the package.

	Awwww! OK, so once again I am late late late. No, my box of stuff has not been sent yet, but I expect to send it tomorrow. I did get pics taken, however my card reader has migrated to the ether, so I am waiting on the replacement I ordered last night to get here. So I just stink all around, huh? Seems like RL has been more interesting than usual, and I expect that to continue, mostly because I have a teen in the house. Anyway, CONGRATS!!!! She is adorable! Hopefully we will see more of you here now that Alex has arrived. Will you have her Wiccanned or Christened? I know I'd love to see pics whichever you decide, if you choose to have her dedicated/blessed/protected. (((HUGS))) Black Rose

	OK, I mailed the baby stuff today by priority mail. I was in such a hurry I didn't end up including the other goodies I meant to send, so that will just have to go in a second shipment. sigh At least I got it mailed! LOL I put it all in a ziplock and pressed the air out so everything ought to make it without mishap just fine. I did insure it, so if something happens, I can at least replace the yarn and do over, lol. Black Rose

	I'm starting to accumulate things for a second shipment. I don't want it to be too heavy since Grandma is going to have to send it out to them and, as you may have noticed, shipping ain't cheap! Insurance is always a good idea. The Postal Service is careful but stuff happens. I remember one instance when Skywise and a USPS crew had to go out and recover the mail from a truck that had caught fire on the highway. The fire department did a good job putting out the fire quickly. The USPS saved everything that they could but some stuff was burned and/or otherwise undeliverable.

	Yep! Two afghans and I made them a bit bigger than usual for baby blankies. I made them big enough to use well into toddlerhood. Can't let the little DarkPrincess get cold now can we!
