	Things have settled down a bit. Thank the Gods. Both the boys are asleep at the moment. Here's hoping we won't have to referee much tonight. I've been visiting the websites of various prominent belly dancers and I've found one thing they all seem to have in common. They are all very secretive about their ages. These women have great -- dare I say "magnificent" -- bodies but even those who are likely in their mid-thirties hide their ages. They could be saying "This is what [fill in age] looks like!" and do their bit to change societies perception of what [fill in age] is and should be. But. They would rather hide their ages and perpetuate outdated stereotypes. sigh These women have enough professional prestige that they really don't have to worry about not getting dancing gigs because of age discrimination. Hell. These are the gals who hire a hall and stage their own shows! Which, incidentally, apparently do very well. So why be ashamed? again with the sigh* In some ways, these women are role models but in other ways, they fall short. Oh well...

	Heading out. My eyes are killing me and I'm sure the War Queen would like a snuggle before Skywise gets to bed. (We're coming up on unlimited downloads and the downstairs comp has been temporarily shifted over to HughesNet.) I just got my emailed horoscope for 4/5. Interesting. I'll need to read it more thoroughly when my eyes work but apparently I'm entering a period [a rather longish one since Pluto is involved] where "second chances" abound. Yeah, I could use a few of those! It also mentioned that "positive thinking" would be especially effective right now. So I think that while I snuggle with the kitty, I'll work on reconstructing reality to my liking. Yawn Nite all. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! I just got up. Things didn't go exactly as planned last night. Nothing catastrophic but getting all the feline persons settled so we could sleep turned out to be a trial. Both the SunLord and the babycat, followed by Moonie invaded my bedroom while I was trying to drift off. The Queen was not amused and much hissing, spitting and growling ensued. I thought for a while that I was going to be pulling an all nighter to keep everyone separated but they finally settled down. Babyboycat is currently asleep in front of the window in Moonie's room. SunLord has been sleeping in there of a night since the Hearth Queen died but he has his own spot in a corner so there aren't any "territorial" disputes. Aside from the fact that SunLord doesn't seem to know his own strength and "pounces" on the baby too hard, everything is going well as the War Queen's reaction was expected. She'll get used to having the little guy around.

	Drenching rain all day and no end in sight, although the weatherdude says it's back in Illinois somewhere. There's a tornado watch for the counties just south of us -- again -- and I've had a headache all day and I've spent most of the day asleep. That means that I probably won't be able to sleep tonight. sigh Oh well, I have melatonin and if necessary, I use the time to work on changing reality. � The babyboycat has been curled up in front of the living room windows. It's a bit "tearjerking" because he's sleeping in the Hearth Queen's spot on her special blanket. We figure that she gave him permission. sniff He hasn't been quite as "wired" today as he was yesterday. We're going to be keeping an eye on him since he just turned 8 weeks old today and that's still a bit young to be on his own, even with us. I think I've found out how to get the audio track from that DVD into the computer and eventually into our iTunes library. I will need to consult with Skywise to whom the esoteric language of electronics and audio/visual equipment makes perfect sense to be sure. Ahh, need aspirin for this head and to start cleaning up the kitchen. Later.

	Well, the weather has finally settled down although we are supposed to have snow showers tomorrow. I've been going over Chapter 6 since Chapter 5 will be done this week -- please, dear Gods -- and 6 is going to need a lot of rewriting. I'm really going to have to think about this one cause what I write will still have to get the characters to the same "place" as what was originally written and, naturally, the part that has to be rewritten is the BIGGEST TURNING POINT in all three books! sigh It's gonna be a long "however long it takes." Since it's after 2 am and I just came in to make sure that the place was still here, I'm going to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Skywise is on his way to Greenwood on a catfood run while I "catsit." His Little Majesty has decided that he won't eat anything except the food he's used to from the pet store and we're out of it and since he's a kitten, he eats like a starving grasshopper. Soooo.. I gave Skywise a handful of money and sent him off. The SunLord still wants to play rather rough and His Majesty only weighs a bit over 2 pounds to SunLord's eleven, it's kind of a mismatch. It's going to be a while before I get out of the house again -- two weeks minimum I have a feeling. Probably closer to four. Next payday's shopping list is going to have to be very detailed. Need food. Catch ya later.

	Skywise is back and His Little Majesty is fed! The little hairball has expensive tastes but we're hoping that his tastes will expand as he gets older! He's quite the little loverboy, always wanting cuddles when he isn't tearing through the house! We still haven't settled on a "civil" name for him yet. We keep trying out names and he keeps ignoring them! Oh well, we'll keep trying. If he refuses to pick one before his first vet appointment, we'll hang one on him and he'll be stuck with it!

	Skywise is at work and the boycats are sleeping. The War Queen got disgusted with both of them and is currently in the Guest House so all is quiet. His Little Majesty has stuffed himself and is now sleeping off his feed. Skywise suggested that when we need to leave for a few hours, we confine SunLord to the Guest House while we're gone. The War Queen ignores HLM at present and he has wisely decided to give the big growling black cat a reasonably wide berth although they HAVE touched noses so I think that putting SunLord in the other house for the duration of a trip into town is doable. We'll put out some food and fill the litter box and he should be fine. Now, I'm going to attempt to get some work done on Chapter 5!

	Making progress on Chapter 5. I've gotten to one of those places where the Original Poster/Our Hero threw me a curve without ever telling me what he had in mind. �What, if anything do I do with it? Somewhere he is laughing while I beat my head against the wall trying to figure out what he had in mind. Provided that he had anything in mind at all. He could have just thrown it out there to see what I'd do with it! * goes off grumbling about dirty dogs....*

	The boycats are awake. I took an adorable picture of them that I'll put up later and the Prince of Midnight is doing his energetic best to ruthlessly slaughter a sofa cushion. SunLord is observing and, I suspect, making helpful suggestions. And people wonder why I refuse to have leather or vinyl furniture.... Chapter 5 is progressing, dance practice is done and dinner is started but not far along. Need to get busy with that. Be back later.

	Morning! We had a quiet night although I had my doubts for a while. The Prince of Midnight got on our bed which is the War Queen's territory! I thought there would be war but he decided to sleep between my feet and the Queen slept at my head so it was all good. Gonna go get some tea and breakfast now and then get to work. I want to finish Chapter 5 today if I can. Later.

	I'm back. I ended up taking a nap. The dreams were seriously weird with what I now realize was a reference to the 5th dimension! I know that we're in a period right now when our "stuff" is being processed through our dreams prior to ascension but this is ridiculous! It was good to see Mom again even if she was hinting at more grandchildren. THAT would take a massive change in reality! She knows I wouldn't mind having a few more. Anyway, I'm back before the comp with Chapter 5 before me. I'm going to refresh my tea and get back to work. And figure out where this scrap of music that's running through my head came from....

	Well, I've gotten the naughty encounter I needed to write done. It should be enough to inspire considerable "naughty thoughts" without being too explicit. I'm not writing porn here after all! I'm about ready to wrap up Chapter 5. I just have to do one more "read through" to be sure that all the posts have been turned into sentences and/or paragraphs. Then I have to get started on dinner. I remembered where that previously mentioned snippet of music came from. It's still rattling around in my head but at least the mystery is solved. Later.

	Chapter 5 is finished. Our Hero is now completely disinterested in naughty activities -- thanks to Aphrodite -- which is gonna make the Minor Villainess furious. The dinner is cooking and the Prince of Midnight is on my lap. We may get another cat later if Bast provides. Skywise wants another unpedigreed Bombay, like Sassy, so we may find one from the same source and if one of Sam's younger siblings were to become available, we would likely take the little one in. And I'm going to have to disturb this little one, dinner needs attention.

	Skywise is home and I'm heading out. I'm not going to get much done on Chapter 6 until I figure out the re-write I have to do. It is so pivotal that it is going to take a lot of thought unless the Gods cut me a break and inspiration hits. I'm going to be devising and "testing" different plots until I come up with one that will work like I need it too. sigh Brainstorming with only your own brain to work with is hard and not nearly as much fun! 	Morning! The cats and I have the place to ourselves right now. Skywise has taken the girls into town while I "catsit". They were going stir crazy, especially Spirit. "Autistic and stir-crazy" is NOT a good combination, let me tell you! I'm still thinking about what I need for the rewrite, thoughts are still very preliminary. Whatever it is, it has to be a horrific experience. Think I'll wash some dishes while I think. It's more productive than staring at a blank word processing document. Catch ya later.

	Everyone's back from town. They brought me some lunch. And pie for dessert. Good for my soul if not for my waistline. Oh well, today is "on" day for the weight training! I'll do that right after Skywise leaves for work and dance practice a couple of hours later. Still trying out various ideas for the rewrite. This may take a while... Gotta go. World Cat Wrestling is in progress and the Prince of Midnight is fighting out of his weight class....

	..... nightmares.... hallucinations.... shapeshift..... might be on to something here... Things are finally settling down enough that I can get to my weights! [So much for working out right after Skywise left! ] Thinking that I need to add a couple of additional exercises to my routine since my "trouble spots" need additional work. Thinking about the name I keep seeing and what does it mean? Thinking that I'd better get hydrated and changed before another hour goes by unnoticed! Later!

	Weight training is done as is a bit of tidying up in the basement. Things are starting to come together on the rewrite. I just pulled out all the major posts that need rewriting. They fill six pages. sigh Still, once I "have" it and get rolling, it should come fairly quickly. The "encounters" are going to remain the same so I won't have to redo those parts, just modify them a little. The rewrites are in the first half of the chapter, the rest of it has already been rewritten with Our Hero playing the part he should have played in the first place! My bad that it didn't happen that way originally and I apologize. Here's hoping the way it turns out in the rewrite earns me forgiveness! � Thinking about a small "photo spread" titled "This is what 56 looks like!" Don't know when it will appear -- I'm not at peak yet -- but it sure is providing inspiration for me and I know just where -- besides here -- that I'd like to post it... Of course, I promised someone that I wouldn't post there anymore. However that promise doesn't cover Moonie or Skywise and if my LRL is sufficiently motivated, he might join up just to post the pics so all the guys there can see what he's getting. Yeah, Skywise can be like that when the mood strikes him as evidenced by the nude of me in the desktop rotation.....

	My knees informed me about half an hour ago (when I spontaneously broke into a hip shimmy) that if there were to be any more shimmies in my immediate future -- and that IS the plan tonight -- aspirin was gonna be necessary! So I took a couple and I'm waiting for them to kick in. Knees willing, I'll be practicing in about an hour or so. The Prince of Midnight is quite the jumper for such a short little cat. When he has some size on him he's gonna be dangerous! We've settled on a "civil" name for him so that's taken care of. I'll probably call the vet's office next week and get him an appointment. Gotta keep up with those babycat shots! Since Skywise made the mad dash to Greenwood to get his special food, His Little Majesty has been eating the catfood we usually buy, naturally! Iams Kitten Chow is perfectly good kittie food and he's scarfing it down right now so I think that Monday's emergency run will be the only one we'll have to make. I should wash a few dishes while I'm waiting for the aspirin to start working. Catch ya later.
