	Finally got some cooperation out of the chicken and dinner was consumed some time ago. Been YaHooing with Nike about this and that, including future "Castle" projects. She thinks I have a franchise in the works and she may be right!! I keep thinking of stories that need telling, including how "Our Hero" ending up needing a particular "diet supplement." � As I've said, I'm going to be a busy, busy gal!

	Morning. I'm cold. It's 55 degrees F. here. � That's a tad chilly for the last weekend of August around here. I think I need to put on more clothes which I'll be doing directly! I've been thinking about the EPIC love scene I'm going to need to write early on in Book 3, not sure which chapter at the moment, I'll have to look, but definitely in the first three. �It's a major turning point and the "payoff" for two books worth of "build-up" so it's got to be earth-shattering and go on for pages. I'm remembering the amount of (real life) trouble it caused in the original. The fertilizer well and truly hit the fan that night. Who would have thought that my fictional online love life would cause such an uproar? I'm not quite sure what it says about the people who objected but I suspect that it's nothing good. Delusional, perhaps? Self-centered and possessive most certainly! �Oh well, stretch, crack! not really my problem then, although it did cause me headaches as an author, and definitely NOT my problem now! This in NOT getting me in warmer clothes! Warmer clothes, tea and a bite to eat: next order of business. Catch ya later! �

	Finally gave up and got back into bed and turned on the electric blanket. My feet are FINALLY thawed out. Now I'm hungry.... Should do something about that.... And I'm still thinking about book titles.

	I may be zeroing in on a book title, not sure yet. I've been prowling the web looking at belly dancing costumes and building an "idea" file and I'm getting ideas for a couple of my projects. hehehehehe! Need to think about doing something useful. The water heater should be pretty much flushed out by now so I'm gonna throw a load of clothes in the machine and see how it goes.

	Clothes are in the dryer and Spirit is in the bathtub so further laundry is on hold for the moment. I've been filling out the historical timeline for the castle world. When certain people were born, when major events happened, that sort of thing. I'm going to have to start an "Eyes Only" character file for myself to keep track of everything, keeping it all in my head isn't a good idea. Too much detail now to rely on my memory. Besides, I'll need it when it's time to publish the Codex! Need to google something that fortunately has nothing to do with writing or creating. Has to do with wooden boxes though... hehehehe

	Morning. It's another chilly one today. I'm getting ready to pull up Book 3, Chapter 1 and seeing what I have to work with. Gonna be doing laundry, dishes and picking up too as we are beginning the "run up to vacation" housecleaning. Vacation starts on the 12th! Gotta get some tea and get started! Later.

	Still employing the ULTIMATE CHAINSAW OF DELETE with deliberate abandon! Of course, I'm being reminded of WHY I need to do that but what are you going to do? Anyway, I'm about halfway through the first chapter, cutting stuff out, moving other stuff around, making posts into prose and writing new stuff as it occurs to me. Once I have the "underbrush" cleared out, I can dig in and write in earnest. The return of the army needs to be more detailed. Need to smooth out some rough edges and there are probably some more things that could do with more embellishment but I'll find those as I go along. I do already know that this chapter will be split off with the last part (about 10 pages) becoming the first part of Chapter 2. Gonna take a little break now.

	Busy day so far. Been to town and back. I thought I was going to fall asleep in the dentist's office while Moonie was getting her teeth cleaned. �She got a clean bill of dental health by the way. FINALLY, got another storage box. The BIGGEST one I could find. I also got some of the really BIG ZipLock storage bags. Some things are better stored in bags. Moonie is downstairs going through stuff while I take a break and report in! Found a television stand that I THINK is big enough to hold Spirit's old analog set that we're moving to the basement once I've made room for it. Must do measuring! If it's big enough, I'll get it next week. [Then I'll start looking for the DVD player we're going to need! Will also need a multi-outlet surge protector.] � Note to self: Put "Lamp repair kit" on the Wal-Mart list. One of the lamps I made for the basement keeps blowing the bulbs, including the last one which was one of those expensive "green" jobs. That's a sure sign that it's time to change the wiring. Fortunately, since I made the lamp in the first place, replacing the socket and wire is not a big deal. Managed to do some thinking about Book 3 while in Wal-Mart, figured out some stuff so I'm a bit ahead of the deal there. Gonna need to make some notes though. Time to get back to work. Later.

	Since my plans for the day got derailed to the point of a major train wreck, I've been working on Book 3. I've added some sorely needed new material to fill out situations that were just glanced over originally. I should be able to keep my mind occupied and NOT fretting over the plumbing problems until Skywise gets home. sigh Happy anniversary, lover.....

	Morning... Finally crawled into bed at about 1:30 am last night, got up this morning, got ready, climbed into the van...... which promptly refused to start.... We took the car into town, did our stuff (I got the bright red satin fabric I wanted for a future belly dance costume project), stopped at the auto shop, told them what's up and came home. I will be spending the afternoon waiting for the towing company to come and fetch the van. sigh Hoping it won't be TOO expensive. The Gods want me to have a new van.... one part at a time. More sigh

	Okay. Since Nike's vacation request FINALLY went through, I went to the mat with the Children's Museum online ticket ordering and got us 5 tickets to the King Tut exhibit. Nike will still need a general admission ticket but we'll be getting there at around 10 am and our exhibit tickets are for 2 pm so we'll have plenty of time to do that. I told them to MAIL them suckers so I'll know in plenty of time if there is foul up. Shouldn't be but after the last 24 hours, I'm not inclined to take chances! I am now going to make tea -- haven't had any yet -- and work on Book 3 while I wait for the tow truck to come get the van. I am SO ready for vacation.....
