	Listening to my belly dance suite and finally starting to relax. About time. Book 3/Chapter 1 is coming along, still adding new material. Here's hoping that the next few days are devoid of emergency-type situations.

	I've been heating water and working on Bk 3/Chapter 1 all afternoon/evening. Skywise will be home in a couple of hours. Maybe he can get the water heater lit. Hoping so, having to heat enough water to wash up all the dishes that have accumulated over the last couple of days does NOT appeal! YaHooing with Nike right now and waiting for dinner to be done...

	Dinner's done. Talking "metaphysical" with Nike. Writing a bit too. I ordered some doll hair this evening. I have a couple of "rerooting" projects I'm going to start working on while I write Book 3. After they're done, I might start another belly dance costume. I need something to keep my fingers busy while I figure out "what comes next" in the story. �If the fingers aren't busy, I'll likely be nibbling on something and it probably won't be healthy veggies! So! My favorite doll is going to get her re-root redone and a doll I got today is going to end up as Red Sonja! I've gotten an idea about how to increase her cup size but I'm going to have to experiment a bit to see if my idea will work. If it does, LOOK OUT!

	Morning! The water heater is still heating and there isn't any water on the basement floor. That likely means that the tank isn't leaking and the water we saw was "leftovers" from the flood. So we have a little breathing space before we have to replace the thing and can make a considered decision without the pressure to replace the unit immediately. For me, today is "catch up day." I'll be doing all the stuff I haven't been able to do the last two because of the water problems. But I WILL get some writing done! Later.

I would have grabbed the nearest solid object -- hopefully something along the line of canned goods -- and lit into him. He would have been hauled off to jail missing teeth! NO ONE touches one of my children and that holds true even though they are in their 20's now......

	I've made some headway. Between bouts of washing dishes, I checked on my rug in the basement. It's still wet. sigh I've gotten the wet part pulled back so the floor underneath can dry but I'm going to have to get it up and out of the basement in the next couple of days. It was raining off and on today so I couldn't do it today. Gotta figure out how to WASH the thing too. At the moment, buying an eight or twelve foot "kiddie pool" has it's attractions but this late in the season, they're going to be hard to find. THEN, I have to get it dry. I already know that it will NOT fit in a commercial washer or dryer like they have at the laundromat and taking it to a cleaner would be too expensive. Gotta do this on the cheap. Also have to think fast before the weather turns and I can't take it outside.

	Been YaHooing with Nike all evening. She has her plane tickets so we're all set! She forwarded me her official confirmation from the airline and the necessary info is now on our calendar. 	Morning! We'll be leaving for town in a bit. The only reason I'm up this early is because the auto shop called to tell us that the van is ready and even though they are closed until Tuesday, we can pick it up any time and pay them next week. (Yeah, they know us that well now!) We probably won't get it today as we already have a ton of stuff to do this morning but get it over the weekend we will. And, it won't cost us an arm and a leg either -- corroded wire to the starter was the problem. The Gods are cutting us a break. Gotta get the kids moving. Later!

	Greetings! I'm still trying to get caught up. I've discovered that what I read online is correct -- apple cider vinegar is MOST excellent for getting rid of mold. I tested it on my most mold covered dolls and it worked beautifully. I'm using it undiluted in both a spray bottle and on a paper towel. Even better, I'll be able to use it on the clothing items that are smelling a bit "musty" without having to worry about damage to the fabric. Bleach is NOT your friend when it comes to preserving color! Gotta go. Laundry calls!

	Still working but I'm trying to get a little writing done tonight. I'm working on a section were some rewriting is necessary since I've been moving things around a bit which changes when certain characters find things out. There are also some situations that are being changed because they were the result of "real life" and frankly, they make no damn sense in my story. So, need I say it? Didn't think so..... Later....

	Afternoon! I hit the jackpot at Half-Price books today and not only that but they were having a 20% off sale! Soo.... I got everything that they had that was also on my list. Hey, it's cheaper than Writer's Workshops and/or college courses! I still have some books on my list to get but with vacation coming up, we'll be hitting the Half-Price on the north side of Indy at some point so I'll look there too. Right now, I need to get busy. 	Whew! Making progress. Had to stop working in the basement a while ago. I stirred up some dust/mold and started coughing so I came back upstairs. I'm about ready to settle down with some word processing while dinner cooks. The chicken isn't cooperating yet so I won't be starting dinner for a while yet. I may have to get "forceful" with it if it proves too stubborn. Need tea and to turn on YaHoo Later.

	I've been talking to Nike tonight and trying out a new chicken recipe which worked out well. Spirit inhaled it in record time and that's usually a good indicator of success! Skywise and Moonie liked it too. It's been a long day and I'm going to head for my little bed, take my time getting ready and unwind a bit with a good book or a good kitty. 	Afternoon! It's been raining like the devil this morning. Fortunately, we have no plans -- that starts NEXT Saturday! -- and I just slept in with the War Queen who, once she figured out that she would be a very wet kitty if she went outside, decided that staying in and sleeping wasn't a bad idea! 	Culled another bra out of my wardrobe that has possibilities as a dance costume bra. I know, I'm hopeless! I'm thinking that I really need to try some of the instructions I've found for making your own custom dress form... The rain has finally moved out and the sun's coming out. 	We went into town, got a late lunch and stopped at Wal-Mart where I found no less than three different fabrics that look "interesting" for dance costumes -- metallic gold lame, metallic silver lame and a bolt of tulle that had a spider web pattern on it. YUM! The lames are a given as I've already made belts using tissue lame and I need bras and accessories to go with them but that net has me thinking all sorts of thoughts. Over the vacation I'm going to have to get the bolt down and really examine it to see if it would "work" as good as it looks. �I still need to find some bright green chiffon for the skirt/veil set to go with the gold. I need more black to finish a skirt and the idea of a bright red skirt/veil set to go with a black bra/belt set is really sounding intriguing.... I'm hopeless, I really am! Then we picked up the van at the auto shop. Yeah, they know we'll be in on Tuesday to settle up the bill. We're on a first name basis with them now! Later!

	Morning! Rainy and overcast again this morning. I slept in and I've only been stirring the last half hour or so. Nothing like a lazy day after last week! Yes! I made up a batch of homemade pancake syrup yesterday -- my own recipe this time -- and I should see how it tastes on pancakes with a side of turkey bacon. And tea, of course! Later.

	Clear and sunny now with a few lazy clouds drifting across the sky. First pan of eggs is boiled and the second one is heating. Note to self: Need more eggs. As soon as the second pan is done, I'm going to knock off for a while and do an little "maintenance" on ME! After last week, I need some pampering. Not gonna get as much as I deserve but I'm gonna get some. Tomorrow is soon enough to get back into harness.

	Well, the storms either missed us or fizzled out and I'm now playing 'catch-up' with the dishes and such. I ordered a couple of "reference manuals" today. In Books 1 and 2 I have alluded to certain "skills" possessed by Our Hero and come Book 3, I need to be a tad more specific about them and the books should help me to delicately explain exactly what he's doing without wandering into hard core porn territory! I know what he's doing, (Skywise does it all the time) I just need more information on how to describe it. And, thanks to amazon.com, I should have the assistance I need shortly! Yeah, I'm wicked. I know. Right now, I gotta make some deviled eggs. Later.
