	We've been back for a while, suitably stuffed. The National Weather Service has issued a FREEZE WARNING for two counties in extreme Northeastern Indiana. Explain to me again how this "global warming thing" is supposed to be working?

	The mail has arrived and with it, the book I've been waiting for. I've already checked and the inside of the book matches the cover. "I iz happy readerperson!" The girls' SSI checks have also arrived so we are about to fly out of here. Catch ya later.

	Back from town. We cashed the checks, had lunch and picked up a few things in advance of tomorrow's payday shopping. I also got the television stand for the tv that's going to go into the dance practice/exercise room. I priced DVD players too and I'll be getting one soon. Next week will see me starting weight training and working on finishing up the excavation of that section of the basement. I'll be making the mirror last. That will take a LOT of room to do and I'm expecting to need Skywise's help to get it into position. Right now, tea and catching up. Later.

	Been hanging out at a new forum I joined. Very dark and spooky. Felt right at home. I should now probably go do something useful. At least I got some of the rearranging that I wanted to do in the kitchen done this afternoon. I'm saving the real "pain in the posterior" job [dragging everything out of the pantry, doing inventory and putting it all back] for another day!

	Skywise and Spirit left for Indy about 20 minutes ago to pick up his paycheck. According to radar, the thunderstorm will reach the city at about the same time. Wonderful. At least they have umbrellas and if they need to, they can wait out the worst of the storm in the Post Office if he thinks it's too bad to drive in. I'm working on dishes and dinner which is why Moonie and I are here. Gonna check the radar again. Later.

	We've been back for a while, been busy putting things away and generally taking care of business. Thinking about and discussing cat enclosures. The idea seems to be finding favor with everyone. Don't know how the cats would take it but I think we could make it interesting. Very preliminary current plans would see the catnip bed included in the first enclosure -- yes, I have thoughts of almost completely surrounding the house with enclosures! -- as well as some other plantings and interesting structures and items. We have enough large pieces of tree down at the edge of the woods and just inside the woods that finding "natural" climbing and clawing materials won't be a problem. Debating whether or not to put netting across the top. �We don't have much of a problem with hawks/eagles/owls taking cats as prey in this area -- plenty of squirrels, mice, voles, rabbits and chipmunks around for that -- but the possibility that our catpersons might adopt the mentality of American POWs in the German POW camps during WWII and decide that it is their duty to escape can't be discounted. [Hogan's Heroes with cats.....] STILL very, very preliminary but I think that we'll find a way to do it. It beats digging graves.....

	Kind of a lazy afternoon. We went out for an early dinner and got back about half an hour ago. Skywise apparently doesn't have to work this weekend so we have two more days to go although we'll likely treat them as an "ordinary" weekend. 	Hmmm.... Smallville was good. Tom Welling is maturing nicely. A couple of interesting emails in my box, one of which requires an answer. Winding down from the vacation. Got some design ideas for the Castle world while at dinner and more still while cuddling on the bed with the War Queen. I may end up having to design an "alphabet," a task that I'm finding a bit daunting at the moment. Need more chocolate. Later.

	Afternoon! We're back. We did our usual Saturday stuff with a couple of variations. I picked up a newly released book at Borders today and got $10 off! Yeah, I'm happy about that. More money for books! I also found something that I've been wanting for the kitchen at Target, on sale, so all in all, it was a good day shopping wise for me today. Now, I gotta get caught up. 	Just finished dinner. I made something new and managed to burn both hands -- serious grease spatters -- in the process. The little finger of my left hand still hurts but other than that, I'm fine. Spirit liked what I fixed so there is a new item on the menu. It is also a very quick meal so that's good too. There was some loose talk about KFC tomorrow night before we head back to the "work schedule" grind so I may not have to cook dinner again until Monday.

	Morning. It's chilly again this morning. I didn't want to get out of bed. I was warm and comfy but..... sustenance was to be found, along with tea, only in the kitchen so up I got and here I sit while the tea chills. It should be cold presently -- yeah, I know. Iced tea when I'm cold.... -- and I'll have some with a bite of breakfast. I was going to make something rather substantial this morning but the roll of sausage that I thought was in the refrigerator wasn't so now I have to wait for a frozen solid roll to thaw enough for me to cut it. Looks like "breakfast for lunch" today. Be back later, need tea and sustenance...

	I took a short nap. I hope it allowed my stomach to settle a bit. Eating after nearly being t-boned by a van probably wasn't the best idea but the point of going to town was to get dinner and we were turning into the restaurant when the decided to pull into the intersection against the light. So we ate and by the time we got home, my dinner was sitting in my stomach like a lump of lead. I feel a little better now. I'll see how it goes as the evening progresses. I'm going to have some more tea and think calm, pleasant thoughts..... Later.

	YaHooing with Nike. Feeling a bit less tense. I think that we've pretty much decided that an enclosed outdoor kitty yard is a "must have." I'm already thinking about "plantings" and ways we can make it interesting for the kittypersons. First one will probably be outside the back door, lots of space for a big enclosure and the catnip bed is there. Eventually, I'd like to build a recirculating "creek" and stock it with minnows from the bait shop. That would keep the kitties entertained for hours....
