We're members at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and we visit frequently. Since I'm always talking about it and Moonie is always taking pictures, I thought I'd start a thread for it.
Enjoy.

The Children's Museum is currently hosting a King Tut exhibit and the building underwent considerable renovation and expansion in order to do justice to it. Here are three pictures taken from the parking garage across the street. Yes, it took three pictures to get the whole front of the building in.

Here's a shot of the dinos taken outside the museum at ground level. Yeah, they're life-sized!

Here's a better look at the Anubis statue in front of the museum. I hope that it's a permanent addition to the landscaping. It's very impressive! I guess if October rolls around and he's decked out for their Haunted House, it will mean he's staying!

These first two pictures were taken from the skywalk that connects the parking garage and the museum. First:

I came into this thread and discovered that all the pix had been reduced to postage stamp size. I've fixed some of them and will do the rest tomorrow. Plus, I obviously need to add to this thread! Moonie has over 20,000 pictures -- mostly unsorted --on file so it may take a while to find what I want....

The Children's Museum has been around for a long time. Skywise and I both went on field trips to it when we were in school at the former location so it has been around for at least 50 years give or take. I'll have to have Moonie take a ton of pictures on our next trip and I'll have to see if she has a good picture of the dinosaurs breaking through the side of the building....
