	Morning. Yawn I'm up, sorta, and I've already taken my pills. Thank the Gods this is the last full day for them. By the time tomorrow, I should be done, done, DONE with this tooth. Right now. Hungry and needing tea. Then I'm going to roam the web and see what's out there. Later.

	We ended up going into town. Picked up a few things and had lunch. Then I went out into the woods with Skywise, Moonie and the cats 'cause he wanted to show me a cool "tree formation" that he found. Moonie's going to photograph it when the leaves are out on the trees. It should be more impressive then. And right now... I WANT A BROWNIE!! A big one, with walnuts and icing from Chick-fil-A! Not gonna get it though. Bad for my diet and a 30 to 40 minute drive one way. sigh On the bright side, I'll finally have this tooth out tomorrow and the saga will finally be over. Yay!!

	I've been up for about an hour, had some ice cream and the numbness is wearing off and I'm starting to feel it. The tooth was split clean through from top to bottom except for about a 16th of an inch at the very bottom which, along with my gum, was the only thing holding it together. The first time he tried to get a grip on it, one half moved and the other one didn't. He and his assistant got in there with I don't know what [probably a clamp of some sort] that held it together so he could pull it out without that last tiny bit breaking. So the unpleasantness of having a tooth break in two during extraction was avoided. I now have stitches in my mouth that feel like I have dental floss stuck in my teeth! It will dissolve on it's own so no worries about having them out. I expect that Spirit will be periodically checking my mouth for the next week or so. I haven't been able to completely/comfortably close my mouth since '06. I'm going to have to get used to closing my mouth without discomfort.

	I'm going to say goodnight while I can. I'm going to try to stay awake a bit longer so the Aleve I'm going to take will last through the night but I may not make it. One bright spot, I took my last dose of clindamycin at 8 so I'm done with antibiotics since today's dentist didn't give me any more. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Good afternoon! Nowhere to go today so I slept in. I just woke up about forty minutes ago. No jaw pain so far. Now to get some tea and hunt up something to eat!

	My mouth feels weird. For five years, I've been compensating first for the tooth that I had a root canal on and then had a crown put on and then, for the tooth right above it that first cracked about a year after the crown was installed and was finally pulled on Wednesday. During that time, I've subtly shifted my jaw to the right so that when I closed my mouth, those two teeth would not touch and neither did any of my other teeth. I am now trying to relearn to close my mouth so that my teeth line up and touch. I keep expecting discomfort but there is nothing above the crown now but a gap and that's throwing me. It feels weird and my jaw muscles are complaining. This will take considerable getting used to.

	I napped some, then I went out in the back yard with stakes (of which I need a lot more), string and a 100 foot metal tape measure and started plotting out the kitty yard around the back steps, the catnip bed, the basement window well and the septic tank. Nothing is set in stone yet -- need more stakes before THAT can happen but I'm getting an idea of where things are going to have to go. Need to decide what to make for dinner. Unfortunately, aside from "easy to chew" I haven't a clue. I spent my nap resting my jaw on an ice pack. My jaw still does not like chewing...." Maybe Skywise will think of something.

	Tired, sleepy and my jaw still hurts a bit. I'm going to take an Aleve and head for bed with an ice pack. While there, I will contemplate designs for sexy but functional leather armor and how to make it. That should keep my little mind off of my jaw! Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! Skywise let me sleep in this morning -- it's been a rough week after all! -- while he used the computer. When he was done he rousted us all out of bed and we went into town for some shopping and lunch. I got a bunch of dowel rods to make stakes with so I "should" have enough to mark the perimeter of the kitty yard. I expect to spend a lot of next week outside measuring, staking and stringing lines.

	Took my new walking stick on a "test run" on a walk in the woods with Skywise, Moonie and the boycats. It wasn't a long walk but the stick worked fine and so did my knees so it was all good. Now I get to make the stick pretty...
