k first up stones can help you but do it entirely for you.
So the first thing to do is to seek proper professional medical treatments or stay with it. Doctors at the time of this post usually mess up. so be wary of it.

Next try to seek out stones that balance the chakras and stay away from stones that bring out extreme emotions.

Also have a friend or family member monitor your actions as some bi-polar people will skip medical treatment or take any pills given to them.

go with ametrine, unakite, agates , black and white sardonyx/onyx ,amber
and black tourmaline .saphire with caution

avoid using , pyrite, hematite, ruby, garnet, and rose quartz.
stones which might help or hinder you:lapis luzuli .blue lace agates, black tourmaline might help but can make depression worse.

Rose quartz tends to provoke unwanted emotional bursts. and at least one person stated they felt unwell using rose quartz. while still another bi-polar person stated it helped them.

one method you should NOT try, licking Lepedolite . as some will state that it's good for you as it has lithium salt. however this can damage your liver.

hematite is usually good. in general 15-20% of people(bi-polar or not) who employ it usually had adverse side effects. so if you encounter this, it might not be because of the bi-polar.
