ok . i might add to this thread as howlite is usually dyed blue ,green ,navy blue and sometimes red as well as other colors. I`m gonna start off with the blue dyed variety.
Howlite that is dyed blue is sometimes called TURQURENTIE. sometimes it is passed off as turquoise. Although it is not as powerful in its energies as genuine Turquoise, it does take on some of the properties of Turquoise, in addition to the natural properties of Howlite. These include dispelling an excessively critical nature, diminishing selfishness and facetiousness. promoting reasoning, observation and patience. For healing purposes it is believed to reduce pain, stress and rage. It can be used in the treatment of disorders of the teeth, bones and muscles. Also believed to help fevers.
