At present this is a rarer type of obsidian. Black and blue obsidians are more common.

Leos should probably check out knives that are made out of red obsidian. but such knives are extremely rare.
or you can make one yourself. as red obsidian is uncommon but fairly expensive as some places sell it for about $24.50 USD per pound. and obsidian in general can cut sharper than steel knives. so these are not toys.

you also have red and black obsidian which is good for both leos and sags. and there is mahogany obsidian which is good for libras. now bear in mind the mahogany is red-brown and black while the red and black obsidian is red and black.

also red or red-brown obsidian is produced because in those areas(if it has black in it) it has traces of hematite in it.
