	USS's conversion to vB is ongoing but it's two steps forward and one step, sometimes two steps backwards. "Thou shalt NOT attempt anything involving computers, technology or communications while Mercury is retrograde"

	I've spent the evening doing research. I'm cautiously optimistic that USS can convert to vB without "too" much further delay. Tomorrow or maybe the day after will tell. Right now, I'm one tired little writerperson and I'm going to take myself to bed. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. I'm alive, I think, but the tea hasn't hit my brain yet. Hopefully, it will soon. I have a lot to do today. And tomorrow will be even busier. I'm hoping that I can get back to writing or at least proofing, soon. Better go get caught up....

	Caught up, finally. Been working or trying to on USS. Haven't been able to do much since I can't get to anything. sigh Since I can't work there, I guess I'll proofread. That, at least, would be a worthwhile use of my time. I also have an idea for a "Samgaran Sanctuary" logo that I can work on. Getting it into the computer might be "interesting" but one problem at a time and I "do" have a backlog of those.

	I've managed to be of "some" use to USS today but not much. I have a "ticket" in at HostMonster with a question and I'm hoping that they can get back to me fairly soon. I don't like being in "limbo" which is how I feel right now. 1111 is trying something over on the "new" USS, trying to transfer the site, I think so I'm "sitting by" and waiting. Doing laundry too..

	Okay, I've found out that it is possible to convert Sanctuary to vBulletin. Skywise and I still need to find out a few things though. If we do it, it will be sometime in September while he's on vacation and we don't have any "he has to leave for work in thirty minutes!" pressure.

	Afternoon! We're back! � We've done our running around and "shouldn't" have any more to do until Friday, thank the merciful Gods! Got some thinking/planning to do and need to find out when Mercury goes direct again. In the meantime, I need some ice cold tea! Later.

	Skywise and I have decided that rather than convert Sanctuary to vBulletin, we're going to upgrade our present software to the current version, 2.5. We're going to need to study up on how to do it so it won't happen until we're on his vacation which starts on the 11th. The site banners will need to have our new name "Samgaran Sanctuary" on them and we will be getting some new template/skins choices in here too over the next month or so. I'll admit to being a bit anxious about this, neither of us has ever done this before, but it needs to be done so it will be. End of discussion. And now, I gotta get to work! Later! �

	Yeah, I have a life! Sometimes I have so much life that I can hardly stand it! I'll be on the run again tomorrow morning. It's payday and that means running to the bank, Wal-Mart and the grocery store with lunch in there somewhere before Skywise has to leave for work -- an early shift again! Thank the Gods that our vacation starts on the 11th!

	A little less than an hour left in the "life" of the YaBB version of USS. The new site is up and running with only a few bumps along the way. The staff is still working to get everything squared away. I've spent the day making sure that I had everything that I wanted/needed to save so it's been a day of cutting, pasting, selecting, copying and pasting. I have it all so now all there is to do is wait... Tomorrow.. well, my copy of the GIMP Bible arrived today and I have a beginner's book on PERL programming and a Head First book on HTML. It's time to start working on Sanctuary and the first thing that needs doing is the upgrade which will "probably" happen in a couple of weeks. Certainly NOT before Mercury goes direct again...

	"Fun" would have been nice but they are STILL remodeling the local Wal-Mart! Today the Sporting Goods department was were Pet Supplies used to be! That is NOT where it was two days ago! And not only is the energy there on the confused/chaotic side, they are laying new flooring and despite their best efforts, the smell of the adhesive (which is strong and unpleasant!) lingers. Fortunately, the Grocery area is already done and that is where I needed to do most of my shopping. They've rearranged everything, of course, just to make things interesting but with four people and three carts, we managed to find everything and get out of there before we all had headaches!

	I am exhausted from another day working on USS. At least it isn't as frantic as yesterday for the most part. Four more hours and I can fall into bed. Thank the Gods. Five hours, more or less, of sleep ain't enough after an 18 - 19 hour day. At least it isn't for me! Twenty - thirty years ago, I could probably swing it but not now. This girl needz her sleepies!

	Morning! Everything is peaceful and quiet for the moment but things should start jumping shortly. It's Saturday, after all! I woke up thinking about what I want to do here while I'm waiting for Mercury to go direct again. GIMP is now loaded on this computer and awaiting my creative efforts so I'm going to be looking into the possibilities there every chance I get! 	Afternoon! We've been back for a little bit but I had a couple of things that I was determined to get done before I sat down at the computer! Most of the rest of the day's chores can be done while I'm online. I'm very pleased with myself since I figured something out yesterday and confirmed it this morning. So with that bit of information put in the "Figured out" column, I can go on to figuring out the NEXT step which may be a bit trickier but I'll probably find some help on the YaBB forum. Now, I'm going to make a pitcher of tea and see what chores I can get started on! Later.
