	Morning! I am grumpy this morning. Probably because I woke up with a headache. I've eaten a bit and I'll have something more substantial once I'm sure I won't set the kitchen on fire. [Yeah, Hestia was NOT in the house last night and I'm not sure she's returned yet!] In the meantime, I think I'll haul out Book 3 and kill someone. That always improves my mood.

	Food has helped. The head is better. Having pictures of nearly naked hot studs at hand is helping too. �Artists' photo references are SOOO handy to have around. Can't wait until I can start doing something with them and GIMP......

	Thanks to a friend on the sister site, I have more photos of hot studs and since I have them on the desktop, I'll be able to import them to GIMP when I'm ready to work on them.

	Well, I've gotten the killing done. I have to fill in around it but the "main deed" is done. I think I'm going to work on this subplot for a while. I need it and it "should" be about the size of a novella when it's finished. Writing it straight through might be the best way to do it. Then once it's done, cut and paste it into the main action at the appropriate spots.

	IMing with Nike about the proposed Wonder Woman television show. We're hoping that it happens. We fangirls are gonna need our superhero fix once Smallville goes off the air in May! It would be nice if they spun Green Arrow off into his own series but there isn't any word on that yet. Meanwhile, I've been working on Book 3 this afternoon. It's slow going but it IS going so that's good.

	Well, THAT little chore is done! Working at USS has convinced me that there are some people who cannot grasp the simple concept of be courteous and treat people like you want to be treated without a list of rules with things spelled out in plain, unequivocal English. So, in anticipation of future need, I have supplied Sanctuary with a short list of rules that hits the "high points" and spells out what actions will get a member noticed and/or banned. These rules are subject to modification as needed and are available for viewing in the Rules and FAQ forum at the top of the Index page. Now, all that work has made me hungry. Need food! 	Well, it's later! Skywise is home and I'm glad! At 11:55 pm, we had a HUGE roll of thunder go through here. It lasted about 30 seconds and it literally made the whole house shake. Spirit had gone outside to meet Skywise 'cause she knew he didn't have an umbrella and she came right back in! When I told him about it just now, he told me that he'd seen the strike right after he'd pulled onto the highway after leaving the city! � It's still raining and I'm glad we're all safe inside. 	We've been back for a while and I've been busy. Skywise has left for work already. He has a weird shift today, neither early nor late. I don't know what tomorrow's schedule is. I guess I'll find out when he gets home!

	I was feeling pretty low -- physically and mentally -- so I took some aspirin and a nap. I woke up about 15 minutes ago and I'm feeling some better. I still have some "mental" things bothering me but at least my aches and pains are under control. I don't know what I did to "earn" them but I woke up this morning feeling like I'd spent the night in heavy labor! Now I'm going to get my tea and see about doing something useful.

	I haven't been noticeably useful but I've been sitting here listening to music and my spirits are somewhat improved. I'm still hoping to get my query off this week. I just need to find either a box or an envelope the right size to send about 95 sheets of typing paper safely through the mail to the next victim on my list! Everything I have is too "roomy" and Skywise advises against using them and since he IS my resident expert on all things related to the postal service and sending things through it, I listen to him. So it will be back to the office supply department again. If we're in Floral Gulch tomorrow, I'll check in Target and if there is nothing there, I'll hit Staples. I WILL get this damned thing mailed!

	Morning! I've been up for a while and I had a couple of things to do before I could sit down and post this morning. It's a beautiful day but chilly. The ground is covered with leaves and most of the trees still have about half of their leaves still on them. Laundry, dishes and writing are on the "To Do" list today and I'd better get at it. 	My "To Do" list got derailed and I've spent morning and afternoon excavating the living room. I've still got about an hour's work left to do but the left knee is complaining bitterly so I'm having to take a break, like it or not. I've found a model in an artist's photo reference book with what I consider the "perfect" female body. Unfortunately, that particular book does NOT come with a cd of poses so I have a problem getting it into the computer so I can use GIMP on it. This will take some thought....

	I've gotten the next query checked out and ready to seal up. We'll be taking it to the post office tomorrow. Then I will begin another period of waiting for my SASE to come back with either a rejection slip or a request for the rest of the manuscript. sigh Oh well, I'll keep plugging away until I find "my" agent.

	We got our business taken care of. We made some arrangements at the bank -- part of our pre-retirement planning -- and dropped the query package off at the post office. We had an early lunch and came straight home. Skywise wanted to use the computer so I curled up on the bed to read but ended up going to sleep. I needed it. I had trouble falling asleep last night and I woke up a couple of times in the night so the nap should keep me going until bedtime. Now, I need to get caught up. Later.

	Got caught up finally. I've started working on Book 3 again. I've decided to do something a bit different -- for me at least -- with this one relationship I've created and since it is something I've had no experience with, I'm gonna have to think about it so it rings true. Might need to do some research if I can figure out WHERE to find the materials I need.
