	Afternoon. I've had a headache most of the day. Not enough to seriously lay me out but enough to keep me from doing anything worthwhile. Skywise has left for work and I'm going to try to do something useful so the day won't be a total wash.

	Afternoon. We got up and ran to town this morning, got back about half an hour ago and Skywise leaves for work in about an hour. thud At least I got the parts I was waiting for. Now I know what size wire and knobs to get and what size wood I need. Right now though, I need to catch my breath! Later.

	I've been fooling with these parts and figuring stuff out. Need smaller wire and thinner wood. I've also been working on some stuff for Sanctuary. Nothing that shows, just some records that I need to have on hand. Now, I'm gonna go get comfortable in front of the television. Smallville will be on in less than 15 minutes.

	Smallville was good, excellent season so far, but now I'm tired -- it was a long day with not enough sleep -- and bummed. I am SO tired of beating my head against the "getting an agent" wall... I'll try again next week.

	Afternoon. We're back from Greenwood so I have meat for dinner. Spirit was very insistent about wanting chili for dinner and the market where we get meat now is in Greenwood. That's no hardship if we plan ahead, which I do. I'm now going to make some tea and see what needs to be done. Later.

	I made some progress on a non-writing project for Sanctuary today, dinner is done and now I'm IMing with Nike. It's been a quiet day other than some nearby moron going through close to a thousand rounds of ammo this afternoon. He has some sort of automatic rifle with, Skywise figures, a thirty round magazine and that doofus was blasting away -- continuously! -- for literally HOURS this afternoon. We're hoping that he's out of both ammo and money and that tomorrow will be quiet! Sometimes I really HATE what passes for civilization around here. Methinks some ice cream is in order...

	Loaded a few more smileys. That will probably be it for the most part. I "may" find some seasonal/holiday ones to add to the list over the next year but that's for the future. Right now the sun is sinking toward the horizon and I want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween (or Samhain if you prefer.)!

	Well, I've gone to the mat with the frozen chicken and managed to get it apart and get it in the oven so we "should" be eating in about another 40 minutes. I'm ready. I went a tad too long without eating this afternoon and started feeling faint. I guess I'm going to have to get REALLY stern with myself and remember to eat once in a while! I'm thinking I'll make up some tuna salad tomorrow. That's always good for a quick sandwich.

	Morning all! It's breezy, sunny and chilly here this morning. We're currently waiting on the letter carrier to bring the girls' checks. sigh Direct deposit looks better every single day! That's a project for the coming year, most likely. We want to figure out how we want to set things up before we get the ball rolling. Less likely to get steamrollered by bankers that way!

	The letter carrier arrived not long after my last post and it was off to the races! We ran to the bank, got the deposits made and got lunch and then ran home. Tomorrow is election day, so we'll be heading for the polls -- our polling place is about 4 miles from here -- and we'll likely get lunch before we come back home. I'm hoping at some point this week, we will slow down to sub-sonic speed!

	I've been "Smiley Queen" again today. I loaded some more over at USS and added a few here too. �If my count is right, we have 380 smileys on the list. � I added some "seasonal" ones today and a couple that I "thought" I'd added but apparently hadn't. If I find some suitable for the upcoming American Feast Day [a.k.a. Turkey Day] I'll add those. Probably could use a few more for Christmas/Yule too....

	Good morning. Yeah, it's been like "that" already and I got up a half hour ago! Skywise got up first and headed out of the bedroom. Moonie intercepted him with the news that we had no water. For some reason, the pump had kicked off so I got down there with visions of plumbing bills in my head and reset it. Fortunately, that got it going again. NO idea what caused it shut off. If it happens again without there being a power failure or something, we'll have to have it looked at. Right now, I need tea! Later.
