	Morning! It's gloomy and overcast this morning. The weather that they had in Kansas yesterday appears to have arrived. I'll have to check the radar. Skywise has a dental appointment early this afternoon, after which there will be lunch. I can't wait that long though. Need something NOW! So off to the kitchen I go.... tea and sustenance await!

	Okay, we're back from Skywise's appointment and the problems with the satellite have cleared up. YAY!! We had lunch while we were in town so that's out of the way and after Skywise heads for work, I'll be doing some laundry. The "Laundry Alps" have appeared again....

	We got a new ink cartridge for the copier 'cause the old one was getting low and we're having some problems with the copier streaking the copies and a new cartridge was recommended as a possible cure for that problem. We couldn't find the brand name cartridge so we had to get an "aftermarket" one. We put it it, turned it on, ran a copy. The problem was worse. We ran several more and the last one was completely black. The new cartridge is defective.... With a side of... We have nothing to lose so Skywise plans to fiddle with it and see if he can find the problem. We really can't spare the money for a new copier right now.

	Oh lovely, I just gouged a strip out of my right hand with a steak knife. I am SO talented! Moonie helped me get bandaged up but I'm not going be typing much... And I still have to fix dinner.

	Well that was quick! Skywise got a call from work at 2:27 pm. He went out the door at 2:41 pm. He'll be on the job by 3:30 pm... Good thing we didn't have firm plans for the rest of the afternoon....

	I'm getting ready to watch Smallville. Tonight's episode looks like it's gonna kick some butt. Aquaman, who hasn't been seen in a while, returns with his new wife, Mera and the actress who plays her is a gorgeous red-head. Dinner is ready to put in the oven when the show is over and all is right with the world. As far as I know! Later.

	Smallville was GREAT! I can NOT WAIT to get the full tenth season on DVD! And as soon as I do, I'll probably have a two to four day Smallville marathon of seasons Nine and Ten. Once I have all TEN seasons, I will likely OT on it.. Dinner is almost ready. Later.

	Afternoon! We decided on a change of schedule this morning. We'll be heading into Greenwood tomorrow morning to see the new Harry Potter movie and it occurred to us that we could do the stuff we normally do on Saturday -- like hit the small "specialty" market where we buy meat -- on Sunday after the movie. The change seems to be going over well. Moonie is highly in favor of it -- she frequently complains about having to get up on Saturday mornings -- and Spirit -- who is our usual enforcer of "the schedule" -- is still in bed asleep! We'd like to break the "lockstep" of "this is Saturday so we MUST do this" so we can have more flexibility in our lives. I can always arrange my shopping list so we don't have to be in Greenwood every Saturday. Another market in the same chain is in another nearby town so we could go there mid-week if we needed to, it's just a matter of planning ahead. Right now, I'm in the rare position of being home at noon on Saturday and having had enough sleep! Time to get stuff done! Later!

	"STUFF" has been done! The "biggie" was getting the turkey breast into the brining solution so it will be ready to roast on Wednesday. I also ran the dishwasher, did some word processing and got various other small odds and ends done. It is now dark and I'm getting ready to start dinner pretty soon. And Spirit did NOT pitch a fit when she woke up and realized that it was afternoon and we had NOT gone anywhere this morning. Life is good....

	We're back! Good movie but I think it will be better when you can see Parts 1 and 2 back to back. I was thinking about the last scene in Our Hero's biography. I may write it up later tonight.

	Washed dishes, made dinner, processed some "non-Castle" words, thinking about that previously mentioned scene and wondering how far I can go describing Our Hero's anatomy (pretty far, I think!) and listening to the football game that Skywise is watching. Since the copier is still out of commission, I'm going to have to reproduce some stuff by hand. Gonna have to figure out how to do it efficiently 'cause while 3 pieces will do for now, I'm going to need a lot more....

	Morning! Welcome to the one week out of the year when I cook myself into a coma! Spirit's birthday is tomorrow so I'll be baking her a cake today, then Wednesday begins the "Cook-a-thon" that will last through dinner on Thursday. Friday will be "pizza night" and payday -- oh joy! -- with leftovers on Saturday. THEN, the Christmas Rush at the Post Office starts! .... I need tea! ........

	Mattel is conspiring to separate me from my money! I got the new catalog today from Barbie Collectors and if the Barbie Cleopatra doll wasn't enough temptation, there is Ken, decked out in a Samuari inspired outfit with a new head sculpt and a SWORD! Next page, Krystal Carrington and Alexis Carrington Colby from Dynasty. I LOVED that show and those dolls have Linda Evans and Joan Collins head sculpts so the dolls actually look like the characters. Next page... Jeanie from "I Dream of Jeanie" and Samantha Stevens from "Bewitched", with Ellie May Clampett from "The Beverly Hillbillies" on the facing page. � Someone in Mattel's "Popular Culture' product development department is definitely in my head.......

	Spirit's cake is finished and I'll be starting dinner in about 30 minute, Gods willing and the weather stays calm. I got a lot done today, journal caught up, research and a few more Castle-related odds and ends taken care off. I've picked my next two query targets. They don't want any sample pages so I don't have to run them off on the printer (copier is still down) so I'll get them next.
