	Dishwasher is running and I'll be making some dinner as soon as Smallville is over. Tonight's episode looks interesting. We've just about reached the halfway point in the season and the end of the series run will soon be in sight. sniff Thank the Gods for my growing DVD collection. I'll probably start rewatching the whole thing next October....

	Dinner is over and the snow has yet to arrive. Skywise "should" be home before it gets bad. Tomorrow may be another story but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it! Definitely gonna need my snow boots before the weekend it over. How much snow we get will depend on where front passes. We're see what we've got when it's over with. Smallville, incidentally, was great!

	Afternoon! We have snow. Three inches and counting. It's sorta wet so not much drifting is expected and "I" expect that the girls will be playing in it once it stops coming down. The day would be perfect if Skywise didn't have to work. sigh He leaves in an hour.

	Everything is peaceful and quiet. The snow is still falling, the girls have gone back to bed, the cats are sleeping and a nap does seem like a good idea since I'm a bit sleepy myself and I don't want to start banging around in the kitchen while the girls are napping. So, I'm gonna go curl up with the War Queen. Later.

	Had my nap. Spirit and I are up now, Moonie is still snugged down in her bed. I'm not sure if she's dozing or awake at the moment. Need to do some dishes, boil some eggs and some some writing....

	Dinner is done, eggs are boiled, the snow has moved out and my feet are cold! IMing with Nike and chilling -- literally as far as my feet are concerned! -- until Skywise gets home which should be in an hour and a half if there is no overtime...

	Afternoon! Sorry about the downtime this morning. I don't know what the problem was but it's fixed now so I'm not going to kill anyone in the near future! [No guarantee about later on though.....] We ran into town to get some stuff and it is COLD today. It was 10 degrees when we left and it's 15 now. Winter has arrived and is getting settled in for a longish stay....

	sigh Sanctuary still has a bit of an attitude problem, sorry for any inconvenience. Skywise is still working on the computers off and on as various things need to be tweaked or pummeled into submission. Fortunately, he doesn't leave for work until 4 p.m. so he has some time to work on it.

	Skywise left about 45 minutes ago and I'm getting organized for the rest of the day. He'll be working shifts other than his usual ones this week but the hours aren't going to be too outrageous. We'll manage as long as we can get enough sleep! Time to refresh my tea and see what needs to be done. Later.

	Afternoon. I've been up for a while but Skywise has been putting this computer through its paces after the Snow Leopard install chasing down the little glitches that have popped up. Everything seems to be working fine so I'm back! I started working on Book 3 last night and made some progress on it which I'm hoping to continue today. I'm going to settle down with my tea and get to work. Later.

	I've been working on Book 3 around various household chores. I SO need staff! Right now, I'm sitting here with my hair in a towel waiting for the water heater to catch up with demand. Once that happens, I do some more dishes! I've been watching the Green Lantern movie trailer. I'm looking forward to that one. GL has always been a favorite of mine and I wasn't too pleased when they made a villain out of him and then killed him off! Fortunately, you can't keep a good hero dead and DC came to their senses and resurrected him along with Barry Allen whose demise was another phenomenally BAD idea. NOW if they would get OVER their current bright idea concerning Wonder Woman, I'd be a happy fangirl.... I probably should write my own stuff while I wait on the water heater and for my hair to be more or less dry. Later...

	Well, the water heater was almost caught up when I washed my hair so it didn't take that long to recover. I've been writing and I'm cautiously optimistic that the 'log jam' in my head is giving way. We'll see anyway. The dishes are almost under control, the cats are restless -- especially the War Queen -- and I'll be starting dinner soon. With luck, Skywise won't have overtime tonight.

	I'm nailing down the "timeline" for Book 3 and I've gotten to where I'm going to have to do some heavy deleting! and well as rewriting! Right now though, I have to get everything written down on a "calendar" so I can keep all the action straight!

	I've going through making the timeline and I've discovered that there is a gap of about 70 days between two major events. So I've started the process of spreading the action out so that HUGE gap is filled in. I'm also seeing the need to haul out the ULTIMATE CHAINSAW OF DELETE cause there is a lot of in there that is gonna have to go! But first.. the timeline so I can keep all the action straight that is -- at this point in the story -- spread out over three locales. I need ice cream, even if it IS colder than a penguin's toes outside!

	I've been deleting like a fiend and it FEELS SO GOOD to get that damned "stream of consciousness" drivel OUT of my story! I had forgotten how Gods awful it was until I found some while going through what will be the middle of Book 3! It was a pleasure to delete it!

	Something's been happening out in the woods. A dog has been barking, neither a "treed!" bark, "pursuit" bark or an "alarm" bark. It's coming from the northwest and sounds fairly close. The cats were upset but seem to be settling. The barking was intermittent and it didn't sound like there was a dogfight going on. I've locked the doors, just in case, and I'll unlock the front door just before Skywise is expected home. Yeah, I'm curious but not curious enough to go out into the cold and dark to see what's going on. If one of the cats were outside, it would be different but they're in and have no inclination to go out.
