The bra isn't fitting right. I'm not sure if the problem is the back band, the shoulder straps or both. I may have to wait until Skywise is around to help with the fitting but I'm going to try one more thing tomorrow before I drag him into the tedious business of fitting and pinning and more fitting and more pinning and more fitting, liberally sprinkled with strong language....

I am about ready to start over from scratch with a new bra. The molded foam core in this one is driving me crazy and causing hand cramps to boot! I can NOT figure out where the fitting problem is and starting over may be my best option. I'm going to put it aside and think about it for a while.

Still trying to salvage this red bra. I have another idea to try that I won't have to buy anything for so I'll give it some thought and try it next week.

Decided to fool with the red bra again and with Moonie's help I have the back strap fitted. It's a little loose but that will be taken care of once I've put in the interfacing and the lining. I took the shoulder straps off and I'll be starting over from scratch with that. I'm leaning toward having them cross in the back and the first set of straps I made are too short for that so..... I'll make new straps, extra-extra long, and will hopefully have better luck.

Growling, I have given up and ordered 5 yards of the trim I want to use on the red bra. I KNOW I have some on hand here but after several weeks of looking, I can't find it. SO! I've ordered more which means that the stock I have on hand will turn up some time soon. Oh well, I'll put the extra in my stockpile -- which I'm gonna keep in my costume closet until I have my sewing area in shape -- and then I'll have it the next time I need it!
