natural goldstone is aka aventurine quartz. which is an aventurine with natural copper flecks in it. this gives it a yellow-brown color. also do not confuse with aventurine glass.

aids in lifting the spirit.

A manmade stone which is made up of glass and copper. or in some cases pottery and copper. It was first created in by monks in an attempt to create gold. initially it was sold as a natural minerial. and China soon discovered how to make it and now makes some of the best varieties of it. Since it was created by monks it is sometimes used in some religious jewelry.

sometimes it is often confused or passed off as sunstone which the red variety closely resembles.

In healing it can bring psychosomatic problems to a hault likr anorexia,bulima and other things. also can help with finances. also this is used in long distance healing. and can be used as an energy deflector.
generally used as an energy stone. also has the same healing and effects as copper.people who have problems touching or dealing with copper might use this stone as a substitute for it.


Red goldstone: the most common type and the one the monks first created.

blue goldstone:made of blue glass and copper. in addition to the above. it can help with fulfilling wishes or "shooting for the stars" .can possible be used to venerate any star based deities. aids in communication and the 5th chakra.

green goldstone: aka emerald goldstone.
harder to make than the other types.aids in the 4th chakra and deals with matters of the heart.

black goldstone:currently unknown but might be good for defensive magic and possibly 1st chakra work.
