	Ever have that feeling that you should "get ready" for something? I'm having that feeling now and I'm thinking that laying in some extra supplies would be a good idea. We were lucky back in '08 when the flood hit. The day before was payday and we were completely stocked up plus, we were able to sneak out via the back roads the next day. If that storm had arrived a couple of days earlier, we would have been in a bind. So I'm gonna listen to my little voice and get some extra necessities. It isn't like we won't use them...

	Bemused. Are there really STILL people who think that there is an actual difference between Republicans and Democrats and that if the "right" party has control of the government everything will be milk and honey with a side of chocolate? Or that Union leaders (doesn't matter which Union) care about anything other than collecting dues (and their handsome paychecks) and maintaining their influence with the politicians? What moron clings to the notion -- like a toddler to a security blanket -- that their screaming, yelling and tantrum throwing is gonna make a damned bit of difference to the world's power elite? You wanna see change? DON'T depend on a damned politician to get it done! More of them are corrupt than not. The only way things are going to change is if the crooks in designer suits are visited by persons with arrest warrants who take them into custody and haul them off to the nearest maximum security lockup where they can't get their hands on the money they've stolen or contact their powerful friends (who are hopefully in the next cell down!) to get them off the hook. Steam clean the halls of power and "start over." Then you will see change.

	According to the "buzz" in certain parts of the Internet, May 5th could turn out to be a very significant day. Could be... could be... We'll see, anyway. I'm feeling indecently pleased. Target has the modular units I need for my makeup table design back in stock and I just ordered two of them. I should have them next week, hopefully, or the week after which means I'll be able to dive right into makeup table building while I'm waiting for the paint to dry on the mirror frame. After that, it will be time to order the wardrobe closet and I will FINALLY have places to put away everything that needs putting away! Sometimes, creating "nice space" takes a lot of work....

	A combination of anxiety and anticipation. I'm really looking forward to being able to see -- that's the "anticipation". The "anxiety" is the fact that although I know it won't hurt and I may not even be aware of what's happening..... THEY'RE GOING TO BE CUTTING ON MY EYEBALLS!!!!! They won't have to peel me off the ceiling on Wednesday and Thursday but it will be a near thing.......
