	Thinking how peaceful the last 3 years have been... NO worrying if that !@#$%^& phone is going to ring twenty times a day, with someone demanding to talk to me even though I told them I wasn't going to be home.... Ah, life is GOOD....

	Yes it is, VE. Yes it is. I've been working on the cover of my Big Black Book. I've added a border to it using some wide metallic trim and I must say, I'm pleased. It has an "arabesque" look to it now. I haven't decided what, if anything, should go in the middle of the front since I had no luck finding a suitably sized flat red rose applique. Oh well, what I have done will do for now. I'll get inspired eventually and it isn't like it has to be done by the end of the week! Post # 20,432

	Plotting. Thinking about getting back to Book 3 pretty soon. Also thinking about adding to the BBB this afternoon and further ways to embellish the outside and illustrate the inside. 	The War Queen and the boycats are out with Skywise terrorizing the small wildlife -- although the SunLord insists on stalking deer! But I think I'll lie down for a bit anyway. I have a lot to do and this eye is distracting me.

	I'm back. The eye feels better, thank goodness! Yeah. Deer, wild turkey, rabbits, you name it and if it is a prey animal my furry ones will give stalking it a go. What Golden Boy would do with a deer if he caught one is another question!

	giggles Cats, they are something else, eh?? Noelle is happy pouncing on toes and Amber loves her golf balls and marbles... That's unless a mole, mouse or snake gets loose in the house, then it's complete kitty chaos!!!

	I'm going to head out for the night now... BIL will be here in about 20 minutes and we haven't had supper yet!! I will be in tomorrow IF I CAN... Since we will be getting the edge of the hurricane tomorrow, I am NOT expecting things to be "computer" safe here until at least tomorrow night sometime. If I do get in I will post updates on our weather conditions. I will stay safe, I promise. We've been through hurricanes before and we're still here.... See y'all when I can get back on, have a great weekend everyone! And anyone being affected by that hurricane, *STAY SAFE*!!

	I have been working down in the basement -- moving stuff, throwing away stuff and sweeping. I'm probably done for the evening because, after moving the end table to where I need it and setting up the new lamp, I have a couple of things to figure out. One, where and how to place the extension cord so that the cats do not find it an irresistible temptation and second, HOW to keep his big golden majesty, the SunLord, from knocking the lamp over onto the concrete floor! I had just gotten the lamp set up and was sitting on the bed with Golden Boy, considering the "cord problem" when he decided to jump off of the bed. He prowled around a bit then jumped up on the end table where he proceeded to prove that the lamp's heavy base isn't heavy enough! Fortunately, my reflexes are good and I kept the lamp from toppling but now I have the problem of keeping it upright and on the table. Heading back to Target for a floor lamp is looking like a good idea!

	They were showing footage of NC on our news channels and weather network earlier... YIKES... They are in my thoughts and prayers, as is everyone in the path of that !@#$%^& storm!!

	I just finished hand washing my dance bra and have it hanging over the kitchen sink, dripping. Given that it has a LOT of dangling bead fringe on it, I am NOT going to risk putting it in the dryer, even in a pillow case! So it is gonna hang there until it stops dripping and then it will be hung up where it can dry naturally.

	I don't know if WD knows anyone on that path in that part of the country but it is possible that she "knows someone who knows someone." Since she and her family perform at a lot of RenFaires, they have a lot of contacts of various sorts.
