To those who know me, howdy.  To those who don't, hello!

I go by Kaye online, especially in spiritual circles.  It's a name that holds a lot of personal value to me.  My "surname" is Sweetbriar, but feel free to just call me Kaye.

I'm a fifth year university student starting this fall!  I major in English and history with a minor in classical studies and a concentration in medieval studies.  While on campus, I co-run my uni's student Pagan group, the Pagan Student Association (PSA).  I have four other groups as well, including a mythology/folklore group that I founded last year.

My personal spirituality is a mishmosh of various stuff that I have essentially collected over the years.  It's difficult to explain, but it makes sense to me and that's what counts.

As for everything else...I live in the Chicagoland area and I'm quite proud of that.  Born Chicagoan! 

I love hockey (Blackhawks!) above all other sports; basketball is more boring to me than football, but not as much as golf.  Ultimate Frisbee is the best game to play that has ever been invented.  I don't understand the appeal of curling.

Literature-wise, I read everything from historical fiction to realistic fiction to sword-and-sorcery fantasy.  The only genre that is not appealing to me is science fiction, but my boyfriend cares enough about that for the two of us.

Other than all that...well, I love television and movies.  Stories of all kinds absolutely fascinate me.  But anyway, my absolute favourite show of all time is Supernatural.  I usually quote it, make references to, and just generally discuss it at all times.  It's ingrained into my memory enough that I basically function on a Supernatural-level.  *shrug*

Can't think of anything else, but I'm sure that was more than enough for all of you.  I tried to be a little more "thorough" than my other intro posts....

I'm excited to be here, though.  I'm glad to see some new faces here, as opposed to just the crowd I normally antagonize ().  Hoping to engage in some great conversations and learn a lot from everyone here.
