New Template/Skins for Sanctuary's Upgrade! (Read 4190 times)

	Our Illustrious TechGod Deirachel has taken a solemn oath to get Sanctuary upgraded to 2.5 by June 1st. One of the things that will mean is that we will have all new template/skins because the ones we have now aren't compatible with the upgraded software. I've picked out a bunch of templates from YaBB's Template Vault that we'll be installing. Here are the links to the templates. The screenshots are kinda small but they will give you an idea of that they'll look like. The 2.5 ones are designed specifically for 2.5. The O_opacity one looks very promising for getting some of the effects that we want so if there is a particular "theme" you would like, we can probably use this one to create it. The "Noir" ones have black backgrounds with red, blue and green contrast. There is also a Purple Noir if anyone is interested. All of these will have Samgaran site banners which is what VE was working on so gleefully yesterday. �There has also been some talk about seasonal and holiday skins so it is looking like Sanctuary will have a LOT of choices in the way of templates for your viewing pleasure. There will be at least a few templates with increased text size and if we can, I'm hoping that we can increase the "default" text size on all the templates at least some. I will have to confer with the Lord of All Things Tech on that one. So if you have any suggestions, post them here.

	Looks good. O_opacity looks cool, would totally depend on the background used though as some look better with the transparency than others.

	I've added "Purple Noir" to the list. SC has submitted a preliminary site banner design that BEGS for it.

	This link will let you look at a full size demo of the Noir templates plus the 2.5 forum default. There is a button in the upper right hand corner that says: Template. �Click it for the drop down menu. Check them out and let us know what you think. http://ibrainstorm.net/modemos/forum/YaBB.pl

	Fixed. SC and VE, especially, are working on some custom templates. If there is anything special you'd like to see, throw it out there and we'll see what we can come up with.

	I know the one you mean. It made my eyes bleed after about five minutes. The goal is to have a lot of different templates to choose from. I'm pretty sure that you will find something you like.

	Black Noir is DROOL worthy!! Yeah, the "red" they had over there was NOT exactly pretty, I liked their upgraded look a LOT better!!

	So, I've got the upgrade done. Give me until Tues to start uploading the skins. We need the forums to run for a bit to make sure it's not bugging out on us.
