Anyone have a smartphone (iphone, Droid, etc.) and gotten a tarot or rune app?  I'm looking at a few of them. Smiley  Great way to always carry a deck without weighing down my purse.

I have a blackberry and I've seen tarot apps for it, I've just never tried it.

Just downloaded one free one: The Goddess Inspiration Oracle (cards by Kris Waldherr).  Nice in that it gives one card to concentrate on every day with a Goddess and affirmation.  Not a tarot program, but all the ones of those I want are not free and I'm not gonna spend money on it quite yet.

Also downloaded Zombie Affirmations: "Today is a beautiful day - to eat brains"

And a Daily Asatru app which has stanzas from the Eddas as well as a rune a day feature.

Hooray for iphone toys!  lol

just downloaded the Tarot of Dreams app for the iPhone.

I like it.  It's pretty.  It's easy to use.  It has a feature where you can save readings and journal about them if you want to, but I haven't used that yet.  You can draw a card a day.  the layout screen is large and nicely done.  There are no pre-set spreads, you drag out the cards you want so you never get stuck with whatever the programmer wanted you to do.

It does not have meanings of the cards listed, however... so this app might not be best for beginner readers.

Update: Tarot of Dreams app DOES have card meanings.  I had no idea how to use my new iPhone when I wrote the last review.  LOL

Also, got an app for Runes by Netistry.  Very nicely done, pretty and useful.  It allows for several different "spreads" and has meanings for each rune once you click on them.  You can also just call up individual ones to search for meanings without doing a reading.  I likes it alot.
