We're going to be heading out to the movies in about forty-five minutes so I'll be back sometime in the early afternoon, probably. It's another scorcher here today, temps are about 25C with a humidex of 29 (Canadian)... That's a humidex close to 90 in American... Cheesy

Working today.  Pretty much spent the weekend NOT working, because I was busy doing OTHER things with my fiance Cheesy

We've so far only told a couple of people.  We're not telling many more until we tell his sister/my roommate, who will kill us if she's not one of the first to know.

We already know who's standing next to us LMAO  I told him, after he proposed, that I'd dreamed of our wedding, that it was clear as day in my mind.  I didn't tell him who I saw standing with him in the dream, I asked him who HE would choose to stand with him.  One after the other, it was EXACTLY who was in the dream.  His brother, his dad, his best friend, and my son.

I just looked at him and said, "Baby, it kinda freaks me out when my dreams come true, when the cards are right about my life."  He just said, "I know," and kissed me.

I'm freaking gushing about him LMAO

I had a mild seizure last night, brought on by flashing lights.  It wasn't bad, I've had worse, but he was right there, handling it.  Held me, picked me up off the ground, got me to the chair, and just sat there with me.  He pulled me close to him, said, "I love you," and then kissed me.  Right in front of all his friends.

I'm just in awe.  He's 20.  His close friends range in age from 13 (my son) to 24 (his sister), and everything in between.  I know more than a few 20 year olds who would be embarrassed to be so open about their feelings for someone in front of all their friends.  But he's not.  He doesn't even care what they think.  When we first started dating, we caught a LOT of flack, and he flat out told them, "I don't care what you think, we're not breaking up.  I love her."

*sigh*  I hope this feeling never goes away.  'Cuz I sure as heck didn't have this feeling with my ex!

Yeah, you heard right. It's called "Cult of Aphrodite: Rites and Festivals of the Golden One." It is written by a modern Priestess of Aphrodite whose practice is Aphrodite centered (obviously!) but who isn't a "reconstructionist" strict or otherwise. I've encountered the term "Neo-Hellenic" to describe this movement and it sounds intriguing....BUT I've been buying stuff online like a drunken sailor on shore leave (well, maybe not THAT bad..) and I'm gonna have to get myself in a choke hold for a while as far as "one-click shopping" is concerned!

It's a book of modern rites, rituals and devotions for Aphrodite. Since She has been unusually generous with me and Skywise, I've always had a soft spot for Her.

The dough for the pizzas is rising and I'm chilling until it is time to fry the sausage for the toppings. And it is currently 89 degrees, down from today's high of 95.

Good morning all!!

It's a rainy, humid and yechy day here in my corner of the world... Noelle is currently snoozing on top of my computer tower (she's my computer buddy after all!!) and I have no clue where Miss Ambers is... I suspect she's snoozing on the landing between the two bedrooms at the top of the stairs. Sargent is snoozing out in the kitchen and so far, the cats have left that poor dog alone...

Expecting furry zaniness later on, after the cats rest up and if the weather cools off a little. So typical for my place!! Grin

Time to get another coffee (half caff) and check my SuperPoke Pets in another tab...

I must be crazy...

I'm considering setting up a new MySpace page, one that is like the old one that disappeared back in November, and one I can let my family see without me getting into doo doo... (My current MS Page is very witchy and says I am a Christian Witch on it).

AND I'm considering setting up another Photobucket account, just for my slideshow that will be in my siggy here after the upgrade.

It'll take all day to set up both...  Smiley

I am going to do the Photobucket Account for sure. Be prepared for me to complain about the eyes going wonky!! Smiley

Afternoon, all!

It's 85 degrees and I have NO idea what the humidity is and I'm scared to look. Skywise has taken the boys out for a short walk. They didn't get out yesterday and have been going a bit nuts so he took them out but it won't be for long. I am now gonna attempt to get caught up!

Skywise and the Prince are in, the girls are out hunting for the SunLord who decided to take advantage of Skywise heading back to the house with the Prince and go walkies. Hopefully, they will find him quickly and at least it isn't as hot out as it was yesterday.
