Morning!!

It's cool, windy and cloudy here today... Temps are in the low 60s and I'm actually wearing a sweater.... Shocked What a change from yesterday!!

Now to get completely caught up everywhere... And get the pics from yesterday's day trip sorted out and shrunk so I can post them in Facebook and show them off in here... Cheesy

So I had to dye my hair back to a normal color today.  I was aiming for a nice brown with red undertones.  Yeah . . . It's not brown.

It's not bad, it actually looks good, but it's way, way more red than it is brown.  J hasn't even seen it yet LOL  I was in the process of dying it when he went over to his aunt's house, and he'll be back this afternoon and will see it then, because we have to go to the visitation for my grandmother's funeral.  Oh, I hope he likes red heads, 'cuz I definitely am one now.

Of course, I also found out that the guy that lives behind us has a BIG thing for red heads, as in a can't keep his hands off them thing for them... that'll be interesting, especially with my jealous fiance...

I'm trying to get some photos uploaded into FB, the ones from the park yesterday... It's taking FOREVER because my dial up hates the new uploader in FB and my connection is so darn SLOW!!

I'm about halfway there now, and it is starting to drive me BONKERS!!!  Smiley

Sitting here getting ready to go to the visitation for my grandmother's funeral today.  J is coming with me, and damn does he look GOOD when he dresses up.  Wowsers! LMAO  My family will be pleased that he looks acceptable and I don't have pink hair.

The eastern subspecies does look a lot like the wild turkeys we have around here...

Yeah, I think my family is going to be surprised.

Saturday, we went to my uncle's birthday party, and J looked very much like the hottie that he is.  He was wearing one of those t-shirts with the sides cut off, showing off his body, and had on sunglasses the whole time, backwards ball cap, the whole nine yards.  And of course me, with my pink hair.

Today?  J has on slacks and a dress shirt, no sunglasses, no ball cap.  I'm wearing a skirt and blouse, and have normal looking hair.  It's going to be great to see the looks on their faces.

Of course I'm just hoping J doesn't end up in jail tonight.  My ex is going to be there; he was actually close to my grandmother and wants to show his respects.  J does NOT like him already, and yeah...

Keep reminding J that spending the night with YOU is a lot more fun than spending it in jail. You might also point out that he needs to be there in case of nightmares or panic attacks.
And yes, the looks on the faces of your family are gonna be priceless.

It's another cool day here... We're supposed to be getting rain this afternoon.

In other words, Hubby won't get the lawn finished today after all. Roll Eyes

I am around on and off, although I do have to zip down to the store at some point, we're running low on a couple of things but not enough to justify another trip to town.

We just got back from a mad dash into town for lunch which we did so Spirit would SHUT UP about going into town for lunch. So an hour before Skywise was to leave for work, we took off.
Those who don't live with someone who is autistic would probably think that we are crazy. Those who DO live with someone who is autistic know too well...

And as I was about to say before we took off -- the printer worked again this morning. Whatever gremlin that was affecting it has apparently moved on..... hopefully to another county! So I am cautiously optimistic that I will be able to print what I want, when I need it.
