Once again, it's hot and humid here... We're supposed to be getting a break from this crappy weather soon, and I hope we do!! Hot temps don't really bother me, it's the HUMIDITY that really gets me ill or feeling blah so a break from it would be NICE!!

Now that I'm finally caught up here, it's time to catch up in FB and other spots... And check all of my SP Pets in other tabs!!

Time for another coffee too... I'm thinking an iced one would taste really good right now!! Cheesy

Afternoon!
It's hot, it's humid but the shopping is done and everything is in the house if not put away yet -- although everything that needs to be in the refrigerator is. Now to cool off, catch up and deal with that needs to be dealt with.

LMAO  Yeah.  It was quite awkward.   That's the first time in my life I've ever been walked in on LOL  And I don't think I've ever moved or covered up so fast in my life.  My son said, "Oh, crap," walked back out, and J and I just started laughing and laughing.  I got dressed, went out, and made sure EVERYONE was reminded of the Knock First rule for my bedroom  Grin

YAY for entire weekends off, Penth!! I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!!

Morning everyone!!

It's hot, humid and cloudy today... We're also supposed to be getting thunderstorms so if I suddenly go bye bye, that's why.

We took a drive down to the beach last night and it was so nice down there... 92 F here at home, 62 F at the beach!! It was so nice to just be able to sit in the cool air and NOT sweat for a change!! Everything went well until my son got a mouthful of seawater, then that was it, he wanted to come home. Sad He's okay, I think he didn't like the taste of it too much. (I don't blame him either, seawater tastes disgusting!!)

I'm around in between storms if anyone needs me or needs to talk.

Time to catch up in here, FB and other spots and check my SP Pets in other tabs. Cheesy AND get another coffee!!

FINALLY!!

All four pets have completed the "Visit [5, 20, 50 and 100] pets and play with them" quests!! Smiley It took a while to do on this !@#$%^&* dial up but I did get them all DONE!!

Now to get Amber's quests done... Feeding her so many times in a week and having so many friends visit her in a day...  Smiley

By the way, Karma hit level 21 (Junior Virtuoso) and Rascal hit level 16 (mega superstar) this week... Kismet is still at level 20 (elite guru) and Amber is at level 7 (pro).

I must be insane.

We're home. Had what will probably be our last blast at Borders. They "think" they will be open until mid-September but with the closing sale going on, the best selection will be now, so we went berserk. I got some things I was going to get in September and a couple of things that I might not have bought at all. So did the rest of the family. We'll probably be going back every weekend until that particular store closes but today was "goodbye."

We've been going to Borders for literally decades. We've stopped at the Greenwood Borders first thing nearly every Saturday morning for I can't remember how long. A big part of our Saturday routine is going to be lost when it closes for good.

What in the *blazes* is it with cats loving to lay on one's kitchen table? Hubby HATES it when Noelle or Amber snoozes on the table... I don't mind it so much but these two actually prefer sleeping there over other spots.

last i checked Borders was bought out by Barnes & Noble a few years ago. So i wouldn't be surprised if the sales aren't that good. as a lot of the books might be shipped to the nearest Barnes & Noble store. and even before they bought out Borders i did find Borders similar to B&N.

but sorry your favorite store went out.


also going through the celeb sits and found out Amy Whinehouse was found dead today at 27.a strong chance it was from a drug overdose.
