I have this fantastic recipe that uses shortbread cookies, caramel, coconut, and chocolate...

Not a lot happening here today... Hubby is at work, Son is wrecking the house and the cats are actually behaving for the time being... Although those two furballs HAVE been fighting over who gets to sit on the computer tower... Amber won this round but Noelle will reign supreme again, I imagine... Roll Eyes

No, he isn't feeling better but he isn't lethargic and he's prowling around. He is STILL going to the litter boxes, trying to "go" and not producing. Having had more than my share of UTI's, I know how he feels, poor baby. We'll be leaving in less than half an hour so he'll be seeing the vet in about an hour and "should" be feeling better by the time we get home -- this afternoon at the latest.

Hopefully by the time y'all get home, he'll feel a LOT better. Smiley

Birdie was like that when she had a UTI... Always trying to go and nothing but a drop or two coming out. Sad She GROWLED at the vet when she got the shot but by the time we got home she was looking and acting more like her normally sassy little self. Within a day she was pretty much back to normal and she HATED getting the liquid antibiotics prescribed but I'd rather have a cat shooting me murderous looks than see them sick.

We are home and the boycat apparently feels better already.  He's already scarfed down some food, both dry and moist. He got a shot and we have some prednisolone syrup to give him for the next couple of days.


Smiley AR! I guess he's starting to figure out that being home alone with his wife is more attractive than an all-nighter with friends.....

Sitting at B's house with J.  J just found out his stipend check for his internship will be here next week, so he's plotting and planning how he's going to spoil me LMAO  He thinks he'll be able to surprise me...

ugh i hit my head again, not in the same place this time i hit the top of my head comin up the stairs from the basement still got a knot tho and i feel slightly naseaus, my symptoms were just starting to go away i do not need another concussion >.<

On another note, I got a call from FIL about 1/2 an hour ago... He'll be here in about 30 minutes... I spent the last 25 minutes cleaning up the kitchen and bathroom... The kitchen looked like a TOY BOMB went off in it and I hadn't wiped down the counter and stove since lunch.... YIKES!!  Smiley

I'm done, just waiting for him and his GF to show up.... And for Hubby to get home so I can start supper as soon as Dad and his GF leave........ Smiley

I just discovered an unrepairable rip in an otherwise perfectly good pair of jeans. *sigh* Another pair for the "only good for yard/dirty work" pile.

I went to rest my eyes and promptly fell asleep. Methinks I needed it.  Both the Prince and the SunLord are out from behind the computer and the Prince is strolling around, looking a lot more relaxed than he was this morning.

Morning! I've been in for a while but have been getting caught up with everything. Cheesy

We have SNOW on the ground!!  Smiley Not a lot, just a light dusting but it's enough to make Son happy and make me SCREAM!!!  Smiley

Hubby is at work and Son is quietly watching TV and reading his books.

Dad in law was here last night, dropping off our holiday gifts. Son saw his and went NUTS, he wanted to open it right away. He's not allowed to open it until next Sunday (Christmas) but he's determined to open the darn thing before that! I may wind up having to hide it until after he goes to bed on Saturday night if he gets too bad with it! Roll Eyes

I am around for a good part of the day... I may wrap a few gifts here and there to get a lot of it out of the way (the ones Son can see like the gift I got for my mom) but I may let some of that go until Tuesday night when Son will be in bed and Hubby will be around to help me maneuver stuff around!
