It is QUITE nasty outside right now.  Suspect I'll wake up to a ton of snow, and a ton of kids with no school in the morning.

But J is tickled right now.  I got my PS2 from my son, who is living with J's sister and her husband, because he doesn't even play it anymore.  And J is now totally absorbed in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith LMAO  It's the only game we have for it right now, but it makes him happy.

Happy husbands are a good thing!

The nasty weather has moved out of here so tomorrow should be halfway decent but I'm looking towards Thursday and the expedition to the vet's office with FIVE CATS!  Smiley IF we can catch the Queen and get her into the carrier, things should go reasonably smoothly. If not, we'll take four of them and the Queen will get hauled in on another day!

Morning everyone.

I'm in for a bit before attacking Untitled #7 later today. Hubby is working the morning shift and Son will be getting on the bus in about an hour and fifteen minutes. He's watching TV while he wakes up and I'm about to dive into coffee #2 of the day.

I'm feeling a bit better today... Still sad but I will adjust to things in time. I'll tell people what happened privately if anyone wants to know what happened that upset me yesterday. *SIGHS*

It's supposed to rain today, oh joy.... Roll Eyes

I am around for a little while if anyone has any questions or needs to talk. Time to get caught up in other spots and finish getting caught up in here... And get that second coffee into me! Cheesy

Boy's temp was 100 this morning, which is good. We figured out that his blanket was driving his temp up so he slept without it last night. He'll be home again today, but we are going to see how he does without any meds.

I have Word open NOW and am editing the last thing I wrote... Will update in my writing threads if I actually DO anything other than edit today.... Cheesy

I'm also considering writing up a quick note about the stuff I wrote last week on my Adult Writing Blog... I didn't get a chance to do it last week due to gearing up for our big upgrade and other stuff.

Morning!
I'm here, I'm awake and for the first time since Saturday, the sun is shining! This is good!  The snow is mostly gone -- also good -- and my leg doesn't feel half bad this morning. I'm still using the cane, probably will until next week at least to be safe. One thing I've noticed is when I'm using it a out in public, drivers seen considerably less eager to run me down.....

Boy is it ever WINDY out there! I thought I was going to blow away while waiting for the school bus to get here!!  Smiley

Son is home and watching TV right now. He's happy and he had an amazing day at school, even with TWO assemblies, Reading Buddies, and indoor play during both recess and noon hour.

We had a power outage today.  Called the electric company, and they were estimating that it would be tomorrow before it would be on.  Not good in this COLD.  But luckily, it was on after just a few hours.

You're lucky about that AR... I think my MIL's power went out one day and they were predicting it would be back an hour later on the power company information line... It didn't come on again for FOUR DAYS. That was during what locals refer to as "White Juan", we got over a foot of snow in 12 hours and it felt like a hurricane with snow instead of rain!!

I remember one year when my son was very little going without power for a week after a storm.  We lived in a rural area, farm land all around, and so the power company saw us as pretty much low priority compared to the rest of the county.

I have been sorting threads and putting them into their new homes.
Every move was recorded by the software as a "post". I have therefore inflated my post count and thrown the "most recent posts" return completely out of whack.
Sorry, guys but I should be DONE with such foolishness since things are sorted and where I want them.

Morning everyone.

It's chilly this morning! I came downstairs and just about froze until I got into my comfy sweater that I normally wear while on the computer in the wintertime. It's like December arrived and a switch was flipped. We had somewhat warm temps all through November and now that it's December, BAM! Cold weather is back here in good old Nova Scotia.

Son has school today so I'll be freezing my tush off at the bus stop this morning... Hopefully it will be warmer this afternoon when I go to get him from the afternoon bus stop!

I'm around for a while if anyone needs me. Cheesy

Son is in school today too. He wanted to have music class but it's not on the schedule for today... He may actually participate in the Holiday Concert this year without problems, he seems to want to play a drum during their performance!! Cheesy
