That poor tree will probably be trashed within a couple of hours....  Smiley

Ours is still standing but that can change... Hubby made sure it was extra stable this year, he used bungee cords to hold it place!!

Our tree is set up in front of the picture window in our living room... Ambers was sitting on the windowsill, sniffing the tree and trying to play with the ornaments at one point. I grabbed the camera, snapped a couple of pics and that was enough to make her MOVE her bum.

That cat HATES the camera!!  Smiley

That would be the number one reason I DO NOT have a holiday tree this year.  Or any year for that matter.  Cats are totally destructive.

Yeah, cats can be destructive.

The first year we were living here, Birdie climbed the tree and knocked it over... She was almost 13 years old. She was trying to climb it her last Christmas, when she was 19 almost 20 years old.

Noelle will stare at it while I'm around but she won't go near it. I'm keeping the water spray bottle handy and that cat knows it.......

Afternoon everyone!  Smiley  Missed you all!

I`ve been awol because my youngest boy has required supervision to catch up on one of his courses at school.  He will most likely have to work over the December break as well to be caught up completely.  On the plus side, went to his Christmas Concert last night put on by the Music Department.  It was nice.  Smiley  Love hearing the kids play and sing. 

No tree up here yet.  Well, except my 1.5 ft fiber optic.  It`s pretty but not twinkly like a tree should be!

Morning!

It's cold outside today, I just about froze my butt of at the bus stop... Darn northerly winds!!

Hubby is working dayshift so I'll be diving into Untitiled #7 and hopefully I'll get new material added to it today. Cheesy

Son has only three days left before his holiday vacation starts, including today. Hard to believe the school year is now 1/3 of the way finished already!

The tree is still standing although I think one of the cats knocked a couple of ornaments off of it overnight, I found one on the floor this morning. CATS!! Roll Eyes

I'm around for a bit while catching up if anyone needs me. Cheesy

I've been here but too busy to post! I've gotten a few things done today in regards to epublishing Book 1 -- STILL no word from the literary agency -- and getting caught up on the web and here.

FINALLY got the boy's Christmas present. Not at all anything he asked for, but I think he'll like it Smiley

Between that and getting a couple things to last until Friday my whole gift from my grandfather is gone. Oh well.

First up: It is December 15. It is raining. HARD.
And it is thundering. Ten days before Christmas and we have a thunderstorm in progress.

Secondly and for the record:
I.  HATE.  PAGES!

If I can't figure out what is causing this formatting error (up to five blank lines at the bottom of some pages) I will have to type my entire manuscript into Pages so I can either submit it electronically or epublish it.
We're talking over 600 pages double spaced....  Smiley

Did I mention..

I STILL hate Pages! But I AM managing to fix most of the errors. It is a serious PAIN IN THE POSTERIOR but it's better than retyping the entire manuscript!

Since my satellite connection is wonky due to the rain storm in progress, I'm going to head out. And well, it's after 2 am too. So..
