Been there did that several times myself... In my case, it was with Ambers. Today, we had a 4 hour nap that was supposed to be only an hour or two!!

Have been mostly off the computer the last week.  My phone has been a constant source of entertainment LMAO

We've gotten past the point where he throws out the D word every time we argue, which is good.  Still got a LOT more work to do, though.  He's got one of the worst and most hurtful tempers I've ever seen, and I grew up with a violently abusive father and have a violently abusive ex-husband.  J would never hit me, it's a promise he made to me, and so far he's kept it.  He knows my past, and he really, really wants to work on his temper.  It's just going to take time.

Hi everyone! I've been on for a while but have been busy catching up along with a quick trip to the store!! Cheesy

It's a sunny day with temps above freezing... HEAT WAVE!! No complaints here, the weekend was like a deep freeze outside, temps didn't even hit -5 C all weekend long and I FROZE my butt off!!

I'm around now but still getting caught up, so I may be quiet for a bit (I know, SHOCKER that I am quiet at any time!)

Time to finish my coffee and get my butt in gear! Tongue

Morning.
It is snowing. The kits are fascinated!  Skywise let them out the back door. They explored the area immediately around it and then Danger Princess decided to take off!  Skywise corralled her but then the Prince went out and is scampering through the snowfall.  Skywise is now outside trying to round him up. LOL

I'm considering seeing how big the new counter top convection oven is and seeing about getting that set up either today or tomorrow... My current toaster oven is on its last legs and I do want to play with my new kitchen toy............ I'm really considering making baked spaghetti in it tomorrow so I have an excuse to use it!! I'm back.

Poor Skywise! Every time he opens the front door one or both of the kits dash out. Their coats are entirely too thin to be out in the cold but that doesn't stop the little hairballs in the slightest. Add to that the Prince slipping out and my poor love has his hands full!  We've finally gotten the kits in and now he's outside rounding up the Prince.

We've decided to include the errands that we'd normally do on Saturday into the running around we have to do tomorrow. That way, come Saturday, we can do what we want to do rather than what we HAVE to do.  So in addition to hitting the grocery store and paying the electric bills, we're going to stop at Menard's and Home Depot and I intend to come home with the wood to build the mirror stand! Skywise is determined too and since he will be going into work late and the crowds should be minimal, we should get it all done fairly easily. *fingers crossed.*

Skywise just left for work, beginning what is supposed to be two weeks of the super late "6 pm to 2:30 am" shift. Smiley I'm frankly hoping that he doesn't get tapped to supervise during that time since the "back and forth" between this shift and a supervisor schedule is murder....
