Well, something funny...

Y'all know how my sister has the habit of driving me crazy by times. Seems the universe decided to drop something on HER head.... *CACKLING*

According to my oldest niece, via FB, they found a mouse hiding in the garbage and my sister jumped up on a chair screaming "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUSE!!!!!!!" Smiley

I hope Sissy likes the fact her oldest daughter (she's now 12) is spreading it all over FB she's terrified of mice.........  Smiley

Afternoon.
I've been awake for a while but the cognitive functions have been a bit slow to come online. Caffeine is helping but there is only so much that it can do. And I'm STILL yawning after a full night's sleep and then some!

The sun is out with some clouds and it's pretty breezy. We're going into town later to have a late lunch and pick up a few things. Warrior Princess needs to have her stitch out tomorrow and Skywise plans on leaving for work two hours early because the alternate mail processing site is going online tomorrow and he is the one in charge of that particular operation! He wants to get there early so if there are any problems, he can get on them right away. Consequently, anything we can do today, we won't have to do tomorrow! The alternate site will be in operation this coming week and then everything will be dismantled and taken back downtown once the NFL gets their stuff moved out. I expect things to be a bit of a mess for at least a week after the Super Bowl is over.....

We took a "little to no warning" trip into town for lunch and just got back. Gods willing, I'm here until midnight but I'm going to be doing "stuff" like making dinner so I may disappear for a bit but I'll be back.

Another "weekend" is over for us and hubby has to head back to work today. He's not feeling the best so I'm hoping they have a slowish day even though that is still busy for the strip. House is a mess, like usual, after two days of us being lazy. I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekends.

Hi, tabby!
We had a short weekend, only one day, and tomorrow starts "Super Bowl Madness" at the post office. Smiley I'd be more enthusiastic about the whole thing if I had a team to really root for. The Colts had an abysmal season but our QB's little brother is the QB for the Giants so I'll probably root for them if I can tear myself away from Book 3 long enough!

I hate short weekends! I don't really follow football much, especially lately. I do know that the strip is supposed to be fairly slow that weekend so a lot of people must be staying home to watch! Lol

We vegged out and watched the 5th season of Bones  and relaxed. I dis manage to get a little shading done but not much. Sounds like you are pretty wrapped up in Book 3 and from what you've described I don't blame you! Hope it's going well!!

I decided it was time to start getting back into shape and decided to do some Pilates today..boy I didn't realize how out of shape I am. Sad ugh...

Next weekend is when it will be REALLY crazy but by this time next week, we should know who has won or will shortly.

Book 3 is going well. This is the first draft so there is still a ways to go but once I have a completed draft I'll be able to get a much better idea of what still needs to be done.

Morning everyone!

It's looking like Son will be home from school today, he coughed and sneezed all night and sounds pretty plugged up right now. Sad Hopefully he'll be okay to go tomorrow or Wednesday... We'll just have to wait and see how he's feeling and doing, that's all.

I was planning to get some work done on #7 today but if Son's going to be home that idea is out the window... I'll work on it later this week, come heck or high water! I have a few ideas I'm bouncing around in the brain so I'm thinking about at least jotting those down in my Ideas file/document and possibly zipping up a few outlines for said parts if they gel with the rest of the story. That I CAN do while Son's home... It doesn't take as much concentration as writing does!!!

I'm around for at least a few hours today... Between housework, checking things in other sites and taking care of my son that is!

Time to get more coffee in me!! Cheesy

School has been canceled up in parts of the Annapolis Valley (north of us)... My niece announced it on FB and I guess it's due to the snow and rain they're getting. We're getting rain out of it, we'll be on the southern part of the storm and it's mostly rain on that end. No complaints here, the less snow we get the better!!!

I just called the school on the cell to inform them that Son isn't going to be there today... From what I got from the secretary, there are a LOT of kids out today... There's a nasty cold going around and our son happened to be one of the unlucky ones to catch it. Sad

I'm watching him like a hawk to make sure he's okay... I hope he crashes even for a half hour, the more he rests the better his body can fight those nasty germs!!
