Catching up, I can say I was wondering who I was married to in addition to my wife.....  Smiley

That list of prohibited isn't really that bad.  No weapons, or things that can be used as weapons; nothing that would get in the way of and evac or emergency response (i.e. bulky, or would get put down in the "walkway", or that may be a tripping hazard); nothing that is going to be disruptive; nothing that can hurt the sales of the vendors.  Pretty easy.

I am loving T.J.Maxx. I got 2 pairs of pants for about the same price as a single pair at Kmart.

I have a pair of workout pants now Smiley
Also my number of jeans have increased to 2 (which is much better than one). Hopefully will be able to get even more soon.

I decided on some manual labor today instead of intellectual. My body will not thank me but my eyes are very grateful and I WILL get some proofing done today. I just want to get started on my mirror stand. I'm at the "measure twice, cut once" stage. Actually, it's gonna be measure about 4 times but who's counting......

I'll probably take pictures as I go along and post them when I'm done. I'm still not exactly sure how it will look when I'm done. I'm one of those people who can visualize a project pretty well but sometimes I just don't know how things will go together until I'm working with the actual materials. Wood in this case. The only "certainties" I have at the moment are that a 2 x 4 foot sheet of 3/4 inch plywood and a 4 x 4 sheet of 3/4 inch plywood are going to be cut to 2 ft x 32 inches and 4 ft x 32 inches respectively. Then I'm going to attach them, front and back, to 6 ft. long 2 x 4's along the sides which will give me a "frame" that is 6 ft. tall and 32 inches wide. From that point, the design is a little vague as the next step will be the base which will have to be very stable to withstand a flying "leap/tackle" by SunLord also known as "Catzilla" who is a solid, muscular 13 pound tabbytom.  I don't expect him to do that but he's a cat so anything is possible!
Once the basic frame is done, I'll give some thought to some embellishment with the final product painted black.  Getting the mirror off of the door in my old bedroom (where it has been for about 40 years) out of the Guest House and down to this house AND down the stairs into the basement should be interesting. Then it will be mounted on the frame and I will be able to watch myself make mistakes while I practice my dancing!  Smiley

Much as I would like to continue building into the night, I've quit for the day. The body is telling me not to push it and I can't find the drill and if Walmart doesn't have the size screws I need, I'm gonna have to hit the hardware store.
There is also the small matter of a really full sink (dishes naturally) and dinner to make. I also have to make out the deposit slip for Skywise's paycheck and the shopping list for tomorrow. *sigh* Better get busy.....

Sounds like you've got a good plan going for that mirror! I tend to do better with repurposing things but who know, maybe I will be inspired to try more!

I'm thankfully not sneezing today but ink goes sooooo slowly. I'm going to send a picture to VE so she can post it for me as a work in progress.

I hope you're getting some work done VE! Drat about the other thing.. Sad

D's weekend starts tomorrow! *dances* we just got the 6th season of Bones in the mail!! So it will be pizza, Bones and fun the next two days!
