Morning everyone...

I saw NY won the Superbowl.... Final score 21-17 for the Giants, apparently the Pats had a lead and blew it from what I could see on the sports channels' tickers/highlights.... Sounds awfully familiar but change the Pats to the "Leafs" and that's why........ Tongue

Anyway..... It's a school morning and I'm not awake yet... I need MORE coffee!!

I'm around on and off through the daytime hours... I'll be cleaning and helping Hubby with a few things but I should be around most of the daytime.

Time to finish getting things ready for Son and get my SP Pets loaded... One month left of that. Sad

Ear plugs are IN, Word is open, the TV is turned way down and Hubby is not going to disturb me unless the house is on fire or the school calls.

This is all Hubby's idea, he knows I've been almost chomping my keyboard to bits wanting to write lately!!! Book brain mode has started and I'm heading out for a couple of hours...

Morning.

I'm here finally. Yes, the Giants won last night. It went down to the last possession. The Giants were ahead by 4, the Pats had the ball, the QB threw a "Hail Mary" pass (a VERY long pass that pretty much requires Divine intervention to complete) which made it to the end zone but the receiver was unable to catch it and it was ruled "incomplete" as the clock ran out. So the hated Patriots did NOT win another Super Bowl in the Colts' House. And Peyton's little bro, Eli, did.

Ah, so that's how it went down last night. I didn't watch it, I was watching some medical shows on TLC and wound up watching the last 2 hours of the original Ann of Green Gables movie until bedtime. Tongue

I've been trying to bring order out of the chaos that is my house. Skywise has firmly promised me assistance in getting my dance/exercise area cleared out of "holiday" stuff. We are seriously behind on that thanks to all the "work stuff" he had to do to get ready for the Super Bowl. By Thursday, I should have "my" space back.

Oh, and Indianapolis did such a stellar hosting job for the Super Bowl that there is already talk of putting it in the rotation of host cities. Which means that Skywise could be doing this again before he retires. Smiley

Mom had a carefully concealed "naughty streak" which most people never dreamed was there since she was so careful.  She was a young widow in a small town/rural area and people, men especially, made enough "assumptions" without her doing anything to encourage it. I lay the "blame" for my taste in men squarely at her feet however. During my early teen years, the local independent television station acquired a movie catalog consisting of Italian "sword and sandal" epics starring a variety of bodybuilders, most of whom could not act all that well but were very nice to look at..... Smiley And then there were the Tarzan movies that got frequent airings too. So my mom and I would normally spend a portion of our Saturday and Sunday afternoons watching extremely well-built men in very little clothing show off their physiques in interesting but PG ways....
That sort of thing kinda leaves an impression!

That's it for me... It's past Son's bedtime and Hubby isn't home from running errands yet so I'll be taking Son to bed. I'm going to let him watch the tail end of the show he's watching then I'll haul his bum upstairs.

I'll be back in the morning around the usual time but not for long we have a lot of things to do in the morning so I'm not sure how much I'll be around tomorrow.

Afternoon!

We're home from the catfood run so the kitties let us back in the house!

It's cloudy and chilly today but it IS February in Indiana so I can't complain.  In addition to the usual chores Smiley I plan on finishing the proofing on Chapter 6 and maybe 7 if the eyes hold out long enough. Right now, I'm gonna get caught up.
