Will someone explain to me just how I am supposed to resist the lure of a dvd set containing the first 30 episodes of the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers? I enjoyed that show as much as the girls did and gladly dove headfirst into the crowds of crazed shoppers to get them the associated loot for Christmas. Just recently I heard Spirit in the basement yelling "JASON, COME BACK!"
[I'm "reasonably" sure that she was watching a download of a MMPR episode.] So yeah, I'm not the only one around here that misses that show and when Amazon just now informed me that MMPR Season One, Volume One was available for pre-order, I didn't hesitate.
Expected delivery date is in mid-to late August.....

Morning everyone.

I am feeling a little better than I was yesterday... I got one HECK of a neuralgia flare up which knocked me flat. The cats loved it because that meant they got a few extra hours of cuddle time.

Hubby works this evening so I'm not sure what all is going on during the daytime. I'll probably dive into #7 at some point, to see if I can get another page or two written up and possibly some more ideas jotted down for the second part of it.

Time to get caught up.

Word is open to Chapter 13 of #7 and I'm going to do a quick edit on what I wrote up yesterday and hopefully continue on in the chapter, I'm hoping to finish it this week.

Morning. I'm here too. We went into town to pay the mortgage and then down to Bloomington for an early lunch. Now we're back and after I put some paint on the table top, I'll be in for the day.

Table top is painted and I'm here for the day, weather permitting. There is a storm system over in Illinois that is headed this way and is scheduled to arrive this afternoon/evening and leave tomorrow morning sometime. Nothing severe is expected but heavy rain "could" knock me offline. We'll see. In the meantime..... TEA!

Over 2000 words and FOUR pages written up in the last 2 hours...

I just finished a scene and am stopping now because I don't want to be in the middle of another one when Son gets home in about 45 minutes. I want to take a little time to come out of "writing mode' and get back into "mother/moderator mode" so I don't get woozy while he's home...  Smiley

I'm working on the makeup table skirt while waiting for the "weather" to move in. There is a big "mass" of it headed this way. Most of it is still in Illinois but the leading edge is moving into Indiana. Nothing severe, looks like so far, just some much needed rain.

Well, I managed to get SOME editing done on #7.... AND I managed to add in a little blurb where I had forgotten to... Even though Son has been driving me NUTS wanting to play rocket bowl for the last hour and a half!! Roll Eyes

Good thing I did a quick reread, I found a mistake that I hadn't seen before and it's now corrected!

On that note, I'm heading out for the night now... It's either leave now or go nuts having an 8 year old SCREAM for his computer time!! Roll Eyes

I'll be in at the usual time in the morning but will be heading offline to write when Hubby leaves for work around 8:30 or so my time. I'm hoping to wrap up C13 and possibly start C14 IF I can do it!!

Deposit slips are made out for the trip to the bank tomorrow.
The sides of the makeup table are almost ready to haul up to the Guest House for painting -- the wood filler needs to be sanded down still.
The dough for the pizzas is rising and Moonie is shredding mozzarella like a fiend.
The kits are full of "kitty stuff."

Okay... Now that I am a little more coherent, I've checked and managed to get about 8 1/2 to 9 pages written up today. I wrapped up chapter 13 and am halfway through Chapter 14.

No wonder why the brain feels VERY mooshy right now...  Smiley Smiley

I'll post an update in BlogSpot and a Note for my FB friends in a while. I'm still a little "out of it" from today's writing and want to be fully "awake and aware of the real world" before I even ATTEMPT to write one up!!  Smiley Smiley

Afternoon.

We've been back from town for about an hour and a half but this is my first chance to sit down. I had several things that needed to be done before anything else and I dove into that as soon as we got home.
The table top is back downstairs -- naturally, I spotted a place I missed as I was getting it in the door.
The sides are up at the Guest House. I haven't primed them yet but I will later. The humidity is pretty high so I'm thinking that I'll wait until tomorrow to paint the sides. That means "assembly" will start Tuesday at the latest and the makeup table project will be mostly done. Smiley

Skywise just left for work and I'm going to get some tea and attempt to veg.
