That's it for me. I'm going to go grab Fuzzy Bum and veg on my chair in front of the TV and give the computer to Son for a while. There is no way in heck I'm going to be writing tonight. I'm tempted to tape HK and MasterChef so I can crash early in fact!

Dinner is in the oven and all the laundry that's gonna be put away tonight has been. I did some "pre-assembly"work on the wardrobe so I can put in the clothes pole that I want rather than the one provided and I've got the Guest House kitchen all set up for tomorrow's painting. And....

I'm not sure what's going on today... I do know I'm exhausted and I may take a nap later. Not sure if I'll be doing any actual writing today, I'm so darn tired I'm not sure if I can concentrate or not!

I have to get caught up. I'm here for a couple of hours anyway.

I'm here finally. The satellite has been down all morning and came up and then went down again. It is presently "up. I am now attempting to get caught up. I DID get the first coat of paint on the wardrobe pieces this morning and the second will go on this evening -- I hope. If they are dry enough tomorrow afternoon, I'll assemble the wardrobe. If not, I'll do it on Friday.

The MBE and the MCEWCA file are now spliced together into one file. I'm almost up to the point of splicing those into the main manuscript file too... I just have to bridge the gap!

Part two will be spliced in right after that big file is spliced in. The Main Manuscript file is going to grow a LOT when both files are finally spliced in!! Shocked It's over 100 pages NOW and the first half isn't even completely finished yet.

The second coat of paint is on. In about 20 hours or so, I'll know if a third coat will be needed on the sides. Unless it looks horrible, I won't be putting a third coat on the top which only the spiders and the occasional flying insect will see. Things on are track for wardrobe assembly tomorrow afternoon. I did some pre-assembly work on the center support last night and today and I do believe that it is going to work out beautifully. I will be almost doubling my hanging space and since I keep getting ideas for belly dance skirts, that is a good thing!

I am so proud. Skywise, among others, got a service award from the Post Office tonight for 35 years of service. One guess as to "who" got the loudest and longest round of applause when his name was announced.....
He was kinda embarrassed. He may not realize how popular he is with his coworkers but I do and I don't even work there!

Thank you Penth!!! Cheesy I saw the posts, I drooled, Son did NOT see the posts and I'm now waiting for my idiot sister to make some sort of snarky remark. Her problem, NOT mine, it's MY FB not hers and if she doesn't like it, well, she doesn't have to look!!!

Son is going to school today whether he likes it or not. Yesterday he said he "wasn't feeling well" so we kept him home and the instant the bus went by, he was FINE. He said something about not going on the class field trip (which is FRIDAY) and I was thinking "A-ha, you little bugger!!". He's going whether he likes it or not... He'll be okay once he gets to the historical site and starts seeing the animals and sees how much fun he's going to have with his classmates and PSA/Teacher's Aide.

Little bugger. Roll Eyes

Anyway, other than that it's a regular "Hubby is home" day for me. He will be going shopping at some point (payday) so I may go offline while he's gone, I have a few ideas bouncing around for #7/NR and I may see if any of the ideas actually WORK...

I'm partway through making a cheesecake... Just one of the non-bake packaged deals, nothing big. The crust is cooling down/firming up in the fridge and I'll be whizzing up the filling in a while. Cheesy Noelle will be happy, she goes NUTS when she knows I'm making cheesecake filling! Grin

I've also got a couple of scenes that lead into the final scene of the main part of the story starting to "focus" in my head... I may start up a new file and dive into that, it all depends on what "clicks" right now. Tongue

Hubby got home about 20 minutes ago... I was sort of stuck on what to do next in the scene I was working on and decided to make the cheesecake filling while I thought about it....

We kinda had a "cheesecake bomb" go off. I was thinking about how to proceed next in the scene, my hand went lax and I kinda dropped the hand mixer into the batter while it was on at full speed, making cheesecake filling fly EVERYWHERE.

OOPS.

Go ahead and laugh, I know y'all wanna!!! Tongue

I have the music on and I'm going to see if I can wrap up that scene even though Hubby is home. He knows I'm in "writing mode" and said he'll doze on the chair and leave me alone. He's still feeling miserable, poor baby. Sad (allergies mixed with a nasty head cold, yech!)

We're home and most of the "just got home" chaos is over. I just checked the wardrobe pieces. The sides still feel faintly "tacky" so I'm going to let them continue drying until tomorrow. The front kickplate feels okay so I'll probably assemble the base this afternoon. Might put in the center support too and I'll have that much done when I start on it tomorrow morning.
I got what I needed for the table skirt so that little problem will be solved when I can get to it.
Right now, I need tea. The Prince wants out. He's not happy. If the Prince gets out, he will vanish until near sundown. He ain't getting out.
