We're back. It's hot and VERY humid here... We're due to get some thundershowers today so if I go POOF y'all know why.

I loaded up on fresh veggies today, the crisper in the fridge is FULL to overflowing so I had to stack some of the stuff on the shelf above the drawer. That won't last long though, I'll have them gone within a few days! LOL

I'm here for the rest of the afternoon, depending on the weather. Now to get caught up again. Tongue

Gotcha Penth! It's humid here too and we have incoming at some point later today.. Hopefully we won't go POOF at the same time..... LOL

I saw via the satellite (on our weather network) y'all are supposed to get thunderstorms today also... SO GLAD it's Hubby's DAY OFF so he can help keep Son calm if we lose the power or if I hear thunder (which means computer is SHUT DOWN and unplugged!)

The storms are getting closer and I'm starting to hear thunder way off in the distance. The line seems to be moving very slowly so when I go "poof" I'll be gone for a while.

We're still getting lines of rain on and off alternating with sunshine here. No thunder yet but I'm REALLY keeping watch on things.

The cell phone was fully charged yesterday so we'll have a phone if things get wonky here.........

Slipped up to the Guest House while I could. It looks like Saturday's errands will include picking up a 2 x 4 sheet and 4 x 4 sheet of masonite, 1/8 inch if I can find it, 1/4 inch if I can't. Copius amounts of wood glue and wire brads should be sufficient to make it stick to the doors. I'll let you know how it goes.....

I'm back. It's still raining --YAY!! -- but the thunder/lightning part of the program has moved out. We're on the backside of the stormline and once it moves through the rain will be over for tonight, most likely. No complaints though, we had a nice steady rain for over 3 hours although I don't know how much we got. I find that out tomorrow.
