Isaac is inching (literally) into Indiana finally. I've been working on Chapter 3 and my eyes are about shot for the night so I'm going to head out while I can still see.

Morning. I've been in for a while but things have been crazy so I am not caught up yet!

It's a sunny and less humid day today than it was yesterday... Hurricane Kyle was a ways off the coast but it was pushing up some very humid air which made me feel like it was the end of June... BLECH.

Hubby works tonight so we're not going anywhere and I'll be around most of the daytime into this evening.

I need another coffee.

We "might" get some rain out of a "second wave" that's coming. I hope so. I was thoroughly POed by Isaac's failure to perform today. Anyway, I've been working on Book One all evening and my eyes are shot so I'm going to take my little self to bed and hope to wake up to the sounds of rain falling at some point.

Right now, I'd like a nice quiet cabin in the woods, next to a lake with electricity, running water and an internet connection where I could be ALONE and not have to listen to Moonie obsess about there not being any fireworks this year. I have work to do and it isn't getting done because she comes in here every two minutes to "complain" about what a boring year it has been because there were no fireworks on the 4th of July.
I am just about at the end of my rope.....

I've managed to get through Chapter 4 and I've started on Chapter 5 but I think I'm gonna head out for the night. The body isn't especially tired but the eyes are and I think that the cognitive functions will be closing down shortly.

Happy Labor Day everyone.

Doctor Who was good, to say the least... That's why I got offline when I did, I wanted to see the reshowing of the season 7 premiere because we didn't see it Saturday night.

Today it's the usual round of me being home with Son while Hubby works evening shift. I should be around most of the day unless something changes.

Time to get caught up and get another coffee into me....

Skywise let me sleep after I got woke up bright and early by someone wanting to schedule an inspection of our water heater.
On a holiday.
And she still wanted to talk after I told her she'd woke me up.
I hung up on her.
