Not yet, I haven't started the reread of Book 1 yet!!  Embarrassed It's a good idea, I think I'll open Book 1 in a second and hopefully Son will stay away from the computer... I know Book 1 isn't loaded with the "good stuff" as much as other ones in the series but it will be a welcome distraction from plasticized twerps, "fan fiction" and sparkly vampires!!! (GAG on all three of those ICKY things..)

There is some "action" in Book 1 but not a lot. You'll be able to read at least the first two chapters before you get to the orgy in in the third chapter.

I'm working my way through Chapter 6 and I'm pretty close to the current halfway point of Book 1. I've got the design for the "cover art" finalized. NOW all I have to do is get it so I can take a photo of it. I'm hoping that I'll be able to work on that tomorrow.

I've past the halfway mark and I'm about to start on Chapter 7. I don't know how long my eyes are going to hold out -- not much longer, I have a feeling. Since Skywise is home, dinner is over early so I don't have that to worry about.

Morning.

I'm only here for a little while this morning between getting ready and zooming around. We're hoping to take Son into the school to meet his grade 2 teacher today and we'll be wrapping up the back to school shopping... Stuff like indoor sneakers, juice packs and other nut and fish free stuff for lunches. Son's school is nut and finned fish free due to some students with allergies, thankfully he'll eat chicken and there are nut free brands (made in nut free facilities) that we can get so we'll be covered that way. Cheesy Everything else from last year is fine so thank the stars we don't have to get anything else! Cheesy

Afternoon!
I'm in for the day. The bureaucrat called and while I'm not absolutely sure, it sounds like a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was up to. I'll call after the lunch hour and make sure. The banking is done (Direct Deposit is a PITA if you prefer cash transactions) so that's out of the way for 2 weeks at least. I'm now gonna kick back and get caught up before I dive back into Book 1's editing.

I'm happy, excited and just about bawled when we got the good news... And saw who the grade 2 Teachers Assistants were!  Smiley

I'm thinking Son is going to love being in Grade 2... We even know who a lot of his classmates will be and he's happy, most of his friends from last year are in his class again this year!!! Smiley

I've went through Chapter 8 but I'm not sure that I'm done with it. I think I'll go through it again tomorrow. I keep feeling that some incidents need more detail but I'm really too beat right now to make a considered decision on the subject. So I'm going to pack it in and head out.

Morning.

It's the last day of summer vacation for students in our area!! Son is very excited and is "confirming" with me what time we'll be getting up, what time he'll see his morning TA and classmates and what time the bus will get here.

I'll be finishing up the last minute "back to school" details like packing Son's lunch, etc today between things.

We're getting rain today so if I suddenly go POOF that means the weather decided I wasn't allowed to be online all day. I'll be here as much as I can be though.

Now to get caught up and get some coffee into me. Cheesy
