Morning.

It's another somewhat cool morning here but I'm hoping it will warm up as the day goes on.

The leg is okay at the moment but I've been popping aspirin like candy so it's really hard to say how bad it is. I do know when I bend it while walking it hurts like the dickens. I'll be staying off of it as much as I can today, which I hope will be a lot.

I'm here for a while then I'll be heading offline for a few hours to see if I can write. Cheesy

I'm back! The day was ULTRA productive writing wise and I'm very pleased with myself! I'll explain all in a blog later today or early tomorrow morning. Cheesy

Smiley <-- That about covers it. It has been a LOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG day but we're in for the night. We did our usual "Saturday Stuff" plus a few extra things 'cause we're going to the honey festival tomorrow plus what we normally do on "Payday Friday." More Smiley

I've been on my feet more than usual today and my shins and feet are letting me know how displeased they are about that. I took aspirin at 3 and I do believe that dinner will have an aspirin  chaser....

The Warrior Princess had an adventure today...

We have a small herd of deer in the neighborhood and between them coming into the yard to graze (which is fine until they eat my flowers) and Skywise, the girls and the cats roaming in the woods, they are pretty used to us. Today, Skywise and WP were down by the creek when WP spotted a deer, one that had been born last year. She immediately began to stalk it while Skywise and the deer watched. When she was close enough, the deer lowered its head, sniffed her and then pulled back a couple of times while WP didn't move. The last time, the deer lowered its head and touched noses with WP. Then the deer turned around and slowly walked away. Sadly, Skywise didn't have the camera.

Morning.

After last night's heavy rain, thunder and lightening, things have cleared up and it's sunny out there today. I'm hoping it STAYS that way!

Hubby works this evening so I'll be in charge of taking Son to bed at his normal bedtime.

I'm going to get caught up and get a few gallons of liquid caffeine in me! I'll be here probably the rest of the daytime.

I'm sitting here thinking about making some of my "about me" in FB public... I'd REALLY cut back on the information though, I'd edit it to "general knowledge" stuff. But what to put in as a short blurb to replace what I have there? Hmm.....

I'm attempting to renew the van's plates online and the  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley SmileyIndiana Department of Motor Vehicles will NOT accept the expiration date (in 2013) on my perfectly valid credit card. And, of course, it is the only card I have that I can use because the DMV only accepts Visa and MasterCard and I have a Visa card (which it won't accept) and a Discover.....
